Join the Peace Intention Experiment - September 14 2008

September 14, 2008 will see the first in a series of Peace Intention Experiments testing the power of group intention to lower violence in areas around the world.

This could be the largest scientific study in history, with hundreds of thousands of participants sending an intention for peace under highly controlled scientific conditions.

Lynne McTaggart, author of The Intention Experiment, has assembled a scientific advisory body of leaders in consciousness research, to devise a strict protocol and measure violence levels before and after the intention is sent to see if there is any effect.

This team includes:

  • Dr. Robert Jahn, former dean of engineering at Princeton University and director of the PEAR Lab

  • Psychologist Brenda Dunne, also of the PEAR Lab

  • Psychologist Gary Schwartz of the University of Arizona, and director of the Laboratory for Advancement of Consciousness and Health, who has run many healing energy experiments

  • Psychologist Roger Nelson, formerly of Princeton University, and director of the Global Consciousness Project

  • Dr. Jessica Utts, professor of statistics at the University of California at Davis, considered the world’s leading statistician of consciousness research

We’re currently building our team of technical experts who will make sure we have a reliable web platform from which to run the experiment – so that you and hundreds of thousands of intenders across the world can join together at the same time via our website.

The first step is to sign up today – we’ll then send you everything you need to participate.

Ron Paul: You Don’t Need To Change The Message Of Freedom

Another Great Ron Paul video.

When you have the message of freedom, you don’t need the message of “change”.

Brief Overview of Congressman Paul’s Record:

He has never voted to raise taxes.
He has never voted for an unbalanced budget.
He has never voted for a federal restriction on gun ownership.
He has never voted to raise congressional pay.
He has never taken a government-paid junket.
He has never voted to increase the power of the executive branch.

He voted against the Patriot Act.
He voted against regulating the Internet.
He voted against the Iraq war.

He does not participate in the lucrative congressional pension program.
He returns a portion of his annual congressional office budget to the U.S. treasury every year.

Congressman Paul introduces numerous pieces of substantive legislation each year, probably more than any single member of Congress.

Meditation and peace could influence the sun

In line with Fire The Grid, it seems that masses of people meditating or gathering in peace and love could have direct effects on the sun and the earth. Follow the link to the article in French here.

Stand with the Burmese Protesters

After decades of military dictatorship, the people of Burma are rising – and they need our help. Marches begun by monks and nuns snowballed, bringing hundreds of thousands to the streets. Now the crackdown has begun, but the protests are spreading…

When the Burmese last marched in 1988, the military massacred thousands. If the world stands up and supports their struggle, this time they could win. We’re in a race against time– targeting the dictatorship’s main backer China in a global advertising campaign, delivering the petition to the UN secretary-general and sending the Burmese our support via radio–

Blogs helping expose Myanmar horrors

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’d know by now that Myanmar (or Burma) is in the midst of a violent crackdown against peaceful demonstrations by monks and other citizens.

Because of tight control of information, news from the capital city of Yangoon trickle out too slowly through regular media channels.

Here’s where the Internet and blogs step in to fill the void. For instance, take a blogger named Ko Htike, whose website has become one of the main outlets of information:

Armed with a laptop, a blogger named Ko Htike has thrust himself into the middle of the violent crackdown against monks and other peaceful demonstrators in his homeland of Myanmar.

From more than 5,500 miles away, he’s one of the few people getting much needed information out to the world.

He runs the blog out of his London apartment, waking up at 3 a.m. every day to review the latest digitally smuggled photos, video and information that’s sent in to him.

With few Western journalists allowed in Myanmar, Htike’s blog is one of the main information outlets. He said he has as many as 40 people in Myanmar sending him photos or calling him with information. They often take the photos from windows from their homes, he said.

Myanmar’s military junta has forbidden such images, and anyone who sends them is risking their lives.

Shelley Yates – Fire the Grid – July 11, 2007

I’m glad this was posted on the CSETI Forums. This is the story of Shelley Yates, her near-death experience with her child and everything that followed. She is inviting you to meditate, care, reflect and love on that day, for one hour, everyone on this planet.

This global project of loving intention is completely possible. Your intention to make it happen can change the outcome of this planet. I will discuss the details of the plan in phase three of this website. I will give you the directions to follow, and you will see how little it will take for you to become an ambassador of light to our home, planet Earth. I beseech you to join me when we fire the Earth grid on July 17, 2007 at 11:11 Greenwich Mean Time, and add your energy to this project. I promise you, just one hour of your time and you can help heal this planet, and help create peace among all people. My son and I are examples of the power of positive energy, and what humans are truly capable of when they unite with the intention of love. Love is the universal language of our world, and the world beyond.

Light and love be with you and welcome to the next phase of humanity; be part of the excitement and please join us.
