Wind Turbines of Today

Wind turbines at ground level produce at a rate of 20-25%, but when placed at altitudes from 600-1000 feet, energy output can double. Ottawa-based Magenn Power is in the prototype stages of the world’s first floating wind turbine.

The Magenn Air Rotor System or MARS is a stationary blimp kept afloat with helium and tethered into place on an electrical grid. Centrifugal blades on the MARS can generate up to several megawatts of clean, renewable energy at a price well below our current grounded wind turbines.

More sightings of Grantham UFO

Pretty cool sighting.
Friday, 3.30pm – A UFO seen repeatedly in the Great Gonerby area may also have been spotted in Ontario, Canada.
Dave P got in touch to say he saw a flying object on Tuesday night, and felt inspired to get in touch after reading about sightings in the Grantham area.

He said: “Last night my mom and I were about to drive out of the parking lot when I looked up and saw a white light just floating across the sky.

“It went across for a bit then just dimmed out. It was strange but cool.

“Also near it was an airplane, which often fly over my apartment, so I highly doubt it was a plane or helecopter.

“Not sure if it was a UFO but it sure was different!”

Have you seen a UFO? Have you encountered a starman waiting in the sky? Did he blow your mind? We want to hear from you: comment@granthamjournal.co.uk

Diving Into the Extra-terrestrial Phenomenon

(This is the first article of a unique serie)

Late in the evening, on a day of may 2006, I was arguing with my friend that he had never told me about the disclosure project. “I told you, but you wouldn’t listen…you didn’t want to waste time on this”. I didn’t even give him a chance to show me? This is typical people’s reaction to the first exposure on the subject. I was in the same boat and reacted exactly like people do now when they are exposed to the subject.

We were working on another Xbox title at the time. A good friend came over to my desk, and told me he had found something very interesting on Google Video. In need of a break, we both sat and started watching what would trigger a turning point in my life. I hear Jon Cypher introduce Dr. Steven Greer, still curious as to what my friend is showing me. This was the Disclosure Project National Press Club Conference video.

…We are here today, to disclose the truth about a subject that has been ridiculed, questioned, denied for at least 50 years…to the so called UFO matter and extra-terrestrial intelligence, can prove and will prove that we are not alone…

My jaw dropped, I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. I looked at my friend and said: “Is this true?”. He confirmed, saying this is the real deal. I watched the entire video, one witness after the other, almost in shock. This would be what would launch a lifetime pursuit for the truth.

From there, I began reading pretty much everything I found and watched every video I could about The Disclosure Project, CSETI, Steven Greer and all the witnesses that were present at the Disclosure Project National Press Club Conference. For days, all the spare time I had was to research. And slowly I was gathering knowledge that would lead me to take my first trip outside Canada. The destination was Mt. Shasta in California. There, I would met with Steven Greer, his team and some 30-40 people that were also looking to get some answers.

It was not an easy decision to make, as people would realize, those expeditions at first might seem costly. Costly trip, lodging and the training fee. At the time, I realized that I was taking a risk to spend a large sum of money and might come back without any answers to my questions. A risk that paid off, as you will see in my next articles.

So I went prepared, unlike some other people that were present that week of September 2006. I read through the entire Training kit, listened to all the CD’s and read : “Hidden Truth – Forbidden Knowledge”. I could hardly sleep for 4 days, as my understanding of this world shifted into the reality of covert operations, corrupted agents, corporate operations without any kind of oversight. Things wouldn’t be simple anymore. I couldn’t just sit in front of my computer days and nights. For the good of my sons and the children of this planet, I had to Act!

The first step would be to head to the training, learn what I could and see from there what would be the next step. I can tell you, a week long of lectures, remote view exercises, and field work was just amazing. I shared room with 3 guys, that quickly became friends. Two of them were from Vancouver, a Father and Son. Luckily, I got in touch with him before leaving Ottawa and was able to get some crucial information before heading to California. He gave me some insights on gear, and he also told me what he had experienced just a year ago, at the same spot, with CSETI. This was his 2nd trip with CSETI I believe.

I also connected with a young guy from Ireland and we touch base on occasions. Another man that was with us is a crop circle and consciousness specialist from Denmark. Amazing guy, with an amazing spirit. Had the best time I had in a long time with all of them. One gentleman from the U.S. also offered to share car rental, so he picked up us in Redding. I’ve stayed in contact with him ever since.

(In the next article, I’ll give details on my first CSETI expedition experience.)

Wow…slowly moving into a police state or…

The Ontario Court of Appeal yesterday approved the use of evidence obtained through flagrant police misconduct, saying any black eye caused to the justice system is outweighed by public interest in prosecuting a serious crime.

10 MW EBM Working Prototype Ready to Go Commercial?

From http://freeenergynews.com/: Don Grant of South Shore Energy Generation in Ontario, Canada gives an update to the progress of Gamma Managers’ Energy by Motion (EBM) motor, saying a 10 MW production prototype exists and is for sale. (PESWiki; Jan. 3)

South Shore Energy Generation of Ontario, Canada is looking to purchase several 10 MW EBM generator units from Gamma Managers, and is interested in securing licensing rights for North America.

On Jan. 3, 2007, New Energy Congress member, Sterling D. Allan wrote:

I just got off the phone with Don Grant of South Shore Energy Generation in Ontario (in business 5 years). He said I could publish the following information.

He said that EBM has a 10 MW prototype running, which has been witnessed by at least 5 engineers in Budapest. They are in process of translating the blueprints into English ($25k), slated to be done in March 2008.

He said that McDonald Steel in Cambridge Ontario is contracted to manufacture the units. McDonald owns Tiger Cat. The units will take 10-13 months to manufacture.

The device is undergoing CSA approval, which is expected to be completed in March. The components going into the device are all CSA approved.

Don, who has been investigating EBM for 5 years, is scheduling to go in with 5 people this month to see the device; and he invited me to go as well (under NDA). The entourage will include 2 engineers, a lawyer, Don’s replacement contingency.

He said the device requires 5 MW to start up, and produces 10 MW continuous plus heat (e.g. could be used in conjunction with a greenhouse).

Don has two investors who have paid 25 mil. each, to purchase two 10 MW units (pending the outcome of their inspection in Jan). He is looking for two more investors, to buy two additional units.

He thinks he can get 28 cents/kw-h from Ontario Power Generation, which would give him a one year return on investment. He’s offering his investors a 20% return, plus 1% of the business for 5 years, which would probably come to around $3 million/year. If he goes off shore, he could get much more.

Ontario (http://www.energy.gov.on.ca/index.cfm?fuseaction=renewable.community) is paying 14 c/kw-h for wind, and 42 c/kw-h for solar.

Don owns a security company and a leasing company and a maintenance company, all of which he will put to use in installing the unit in an underground bunker.

The unit can run continuously except for two days of the year when it needs to be inspected. It carries a 40 year warranty.

The company is working on a 225 MW version.

5 Dim Lights In A Delta Or V Shape, Kanata, Ontario, Canada

Date: September 29, 2007
Time: Around 9:00 – 10:00 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Kanata, ON
Number of witnesses: 1
Number of objects: 7
Shape of objects: Small points of light, very dim.

Full Description of event/sighting: I was looking up at the sky last night, just looking at the stars and had just seen a small shooting star to the north. I looked straight up above my house and then after about 10 seconds, I saw 5 dim lights in a delta or “V” shape – almost like a flying wing shape in pattern – moving northeast to southwest in a straight line. I thought at first of a plane, but with the shape and distance of the lights it would have been a very low flying plane, and there was absolutely no sound. While I watched it, wondering what it was, I saw two more lights off to the left (south) of it, also moving in a straight line, side-by-side, angling slightly towards the first object. As I watched them, one of the lights to the left (the one closest) seemed to move closer to the V shaped lights very quickly (too quickly for conventional aircraft in my opinion) and then the other one also approached at a very high rate of speed. The two sets of lights seemed to fly beside each other for a moment, then the two extra lights swung in behind and joined the V formation just before the lights became too dim to and moved out of my line of sight.

If I hadn’t been looking in that exact spot at that exact time, I would never have seen them, the lights were so dim, like dim background stars. The fact that what I saw was silent, and the fact that the extra lights moved so quickly towards the other object, ruled out my initial thought of a large plane and fighter escort – plus there were no blinking running lights as a commuter or military jet would likely have (I assume that military jets have these lights over friendly territory?). A friend of mine suggested it might be a CP-140 Aurora, though nothing I have found on this aircraft suggests it would be in Ontario, or that it would fly completely silent as what I saw did. Also, looking at the shape of the wings on a CP-140, it is more of a reverse angle wing, and only slight at that. What I saw had more of the wing shape of a B2 bomber, but with a more obtuse angle.

I can usually manage to explain things I see at night, but this was something else entirely. I’ve never seen anything like it, and no explanation so far has satisfied all of the things I have seen.

Thanks for hosting this site and the information you share. It’s very interesting and informative!

Cheers!

A White Or Silver Sphere – Etobicoke, Ontario

Date: September 8, 2007
Time: Approx: 4:00 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Etobicoke, ON.
Number of witnesses: 2
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Sphere.

Full Description of event/sighting: The photo was taken on Saturday, September 8th, at around 4:00pm, my wife and I had just sat down on a bench beside a parking lot in a shopping mall, when my eye caught a glint of a white or silver sphere moving from roughly north to south, in Etobicoke, (Toronto) ON, heading towards Lake Ontario.

When I had first spotted the object it was at a relatively low altitude, 1000 feet, perhaps 1km away from me, moving at a speed of perhaps 100km/h. It left no trail, and made no sound. My wife and I observed it for approx. 4 minutes in total. As it continued southward it slowly gained in altitude. I took several pictures with my cell phone that did not turn out, but my wife managed to take two photos that did turn out.

In the photos can be seen a bright sphere. It also seems to be casting a shadow on the clouds. The sun was roughly at out back at this time, we were facing east or south east while watching this object that eventually went out of view. I really regret not having our big camera with us that day.

Ontario is the new hotspot for UFO sightings: investigator

On track for ‘record-breaking year’

William Lin, The Ottawa Citizen
Published: Sunday, September 16, 2007

On Aug. 4, 1977, Paul Shishis was just a regular teenager working at a Scarborough grocery store.

But, it was no ordinary evening shift. He remembers that day well.

That Thursday night, he said, out in an adjacent open field, the 18-year-old saw what most people encounter only in science-fiction movies: a pear-shaped unidentified flying object with rotating multi-coloured lights in the night sky.

“I was dumbstruck with what I was witnessing,” Mr. Shishis said, now 48 and living in Oshawa.

Mr. Shishis’ experience is recorded alongside thousands of Canadian sightings, and the recent recounting of his story comes at a time when many continue to pose the elusive age-old question: Are we alone in the universe? This year marks the 60th anniversary of the crash landing in Roswell, New Mexico, where some believe the U.S. military covered up evidence of an alien craft. And this weekend, Edmonton’s TELUS World of Science, a respected museum complex, hosted a two-day UFO conference exploring the possibility of intelligent alien life.

For some, the possibility of alien beings visiting Earth is hard to swallow, the stuff of science fiction along the lines of the X-Files and Close Encounters of the Third Kind.

But one independent Canadian UFO investigator said mysterious sightings in Ontario appear to be on the rise, with this year potentially seeing record numbers.

Brian Vike, who runs HBCC UFO Research from Houston, B.C, records Canadian incidents with the help of a British website.

They reported about 150 Ontario sightings so far this year up to the end of August out of a rough total of 300 in Canada.

Compare that with 188 Ontario sightings in all of 2006, according to another count that also includes Mr. Vike’s numbers, the Canadian UFO Survey, and the results could be surprising, he said.

“You’re going to have a record-breaking year, no doubt about it,” he said.

The Canadian UFO Survey is tabled by leading UFOlogists Chris Rutkowski, who spoke at the Edmonton conference, and Geoff Dittman, perhaps providing the clearest snapshot of Canadian sightings.

B.C. used to be the UFO magnet of Canada. According to last year’s survey, B.C. beat Ontario in sightings despite having a smaller population.

In 2002, B.C. logged 176 sightings. Ontario had 128. And the next year, it was even more lopsided: 304 to 150.

But, so far his year, up to the end of August, B.C. only has half of Ontario’s numbers, at 81 sightings, according to Mr. Vike.

Mr. Vike said he’s at a loss to explain it. He said several sightings were spotted near the Pickering nuclear plant.

“Is it something that’s attracting them? Is it something like the great bodies of water that you have?” After all, Mr. Shishis said he saw the UFO hover over what he believed to be Pickering that August night.

Ottawa is tied in eighth place in the number of municipal sightings with Edmonton and Burnaby, 12, according to the 2006 survey.

The No. 1 municipality attracting UFOs? Maidstone, Sask.

Whatever the reason for higher Ontario numbers, many experts say that Canada lacks a centralized database for sightings.

That means no accurate count exists.

“We really need to have a better way for people to report and making people aware of the proper channel of reporting these things. It would be great if there was a centralized thing,” said Frank Florian, director of space sciences at the TELUS World of Science.

“A lot of people who report these things don’t want to be labelled as quacks and things like that. They just want a question answered. Sometimes if you bring up the word ‘UFO,’ most people just kind of laugh or scoff at it,” he said.

And some don’t know where to turn to or are too embarrassed to say they saw a UFO.

“Most sightings don’t get reported. Its very hard to get a handle of what’s going on, because we don’t hear about most of the cases,” said Stanton Friedman, a former nuclear physicist who was the original civilian investigator for the Roswell incident.

Mr. Friedman, 73, at first blush doesn’t seem like a man who believes in UFOs. In fact, he’s never even seen one.

“I’ve never seen Tokyo. Do I have to see it to believe it’s there?” he asked rhetorically.

Mr. Friedman once worked as a nuclear physicist for engineering giants like General Electric, General Motors and McDonnell Douglas. He now calls New Brunswick home.

“I’m convinced the evidence is overwhelming that planet Earth is being visited by intelligently controlled extra-terrestrial spacecraft,” said Mr. Friedman, who was a guest speaker at the Edmonton conference. “We have sightings by scientist and by astronomers. There’s a tremendous amount of evidence out there.” Sometimes, the UFOs can be explained as the International Space Station, planes, even stars, Mr. Vike said.

“Let me tell you, we get hoaxes, lots of them. But you try to sort it out the best you can,” he said.

As for the Roswell incident, which he calls “cosmic Watergate,” Mr. Friedman believes the U.S. military did recover a flying saucer.

Asked if the truth about Roswell would someday be revealed, he said “if some major newsgroup would spend as much effort blowing the lid of the cosmic Watergate as the Washington Post did on the political Watergate, sure.”

An Extremely Bright Light – Ottawa, Ontario

Date: September 14, 2007
Time: 4:00 a.m.

Message: Hi Brian, I could not register on your site as the module was not working. I wanted to respond to an article regarding the light in the sky seen in Toronto. I too saw it. I work the graveyard-shift in Ottawa. During my breaks, I star gaze. At 4:00 am Friday morning, I went for lunch. An hour later I came back and there it was, a light in the sky I had never seen. The light was not there earlier. The light did not move nor did it change color, however, looking at the photos you posted, it appears to be the same light I saw. At first I thought it was Venus, but it was way too big.

Then I thought it could be the reflection of the space station, but I believe that was not due to appear that evening. I rushed home, all the while keeping an eye on the object and when I got home, I viewed it with some binoculars. It appeared to be very bright and not completely circular (almost). I left it at 6:00 a.m. to check the news and some websites for any info, but could not find anything. Until my friend stumbled upon this article. I am sorry to write you this way, but I wanted to let you know that there are others who saw this. My friends think I am nuts, but I don’t care. I saw what I saw and the fact that I cannot explain it makes me curious. I haven’t seen it since (Friday the 14th). I think I need to buy a camera.

Black Helicopters & UFOs over Southern Ontario

Hi BJ, nice temps and clear skies happening here in southern Ontario. There’s a bit of a chill up my spine presently, in regards to black helicopters and UFOs. I have observed in our skies in a 45 km span in distance. Here’s the story of truth in my observations in the last 48 hrs.

On Aug.30, 2007, while on the Hwy 401 eastbound, I noticed a black helicopter flying low and in flow with traffic to the north- moving eastbound. It then stopped and hovered and circled over the Hwy. No accidents were observed along the Hwy, steady traffic flow. The helicopter moved along east for about 3-4 miles, then stopped near Brock Street, in Whitby.

I turned off the next exit [Thickenson] and noticed the helicopter still hovering a couple miles away. Later, I finished supper and went out after 8:00 PM for groceries. I noticed along the way, a white helicopter with a red lines along the bottom, followed north my direction in parallel. As I now turned west, it flew over and circled my position.

When I arrived at the Plaza, the helicopter was hovering nearby at about 1000 ft. Other people looked up, due to it’s loud noise. I ignored it and shopped for groceries. The following day on August. 31,2007, I went out for lunch in Scarborough, about 3 miles away from work. I grabbed a slice of pizza and went outside. I noticed southwest, about a mile away, another, or the same “type” of black helicopter seen yesterday 45 kms in Whitby.

I had a bird’s eye view, as it hovered during my lunch perch for 15 mins. I finished lunch and walked away to my car. I was really surprised to see the black helicopter had also moved closer to my position, as I was leaving. Iff one is a sky watcher, it is not too tough to figure out aircraft behavior in the sky if one watches their surroundings above. Again, I ignored the coincidences of black helicopter’s presence. Later at work in the afternoon, around 3:10 PM, I stepped outside of the dock door. I admired the clear skies and blocked the sun with my hand. My mouth dropped, as I looked up at a strange white flickering object.

In description, it appeared long and whitish in color. This object was flickering every other second.Or like a glistening [bright light]–like reflection from the sun. The object seemed to be morphing [changing shape] and hanging almost stationary. I looked down and over to two guys, 30 yds away. I yelled over to them. “Want to see a UFO?” The one fellow asked,” where ?”

I walked over quickly and pointed to the west almost straight above. One of the guys said, it’s a plane.” I replied, “it’s NOT moving man.” The other guy ran through the door and brought out a third witness. The person even said, not another UFO up there ? All four of us watched it for two three minutes in disbelief. Suddenly, the three guys run back through their door of there workplace together. They did seem frightened, as it came directly above our position.

Guessing the altitude of 3000 + feet. Being camera ready for moments like these. I snapped many pictures to again capture the moment. As I alone continue to watch, high in the sky. You could see another one in unison moving northeast much higher .I then focused back on the first object- it vanished–gone !! I could no longer see it. The entire sighting lasted about 20 mins, but not the adrenalin inside of me. It continues of memory to what was actually witnessed.

One thing to note B J. This is the same type of UFO that was reported to you, March 29, 2006. I will send about 10 pictures to you for a clearer picture of what has been told in evidence. Contact approaches shortly I suspect ! Take care and sorry for the length of the report. This confirms that maybe satellite picks up the Fastwalker. Then dispatches it’s best surveillance aircraft-BLACK HELICOPTER or any conventional aircraft. I can confirm in my observations both black helicopters and UFOs are connected in sightings and or maybe to block contact.Sure would like to see the instruments in one those.Take care and Happy Long Labour Day for Canada.

A Group Of Moving Lights – Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Date: August 31, 2007
Time: 9:00 – 9:30 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Intersection of Islington and Bloor Street.
Number of witnesses: 2
Number of objects: 3-4
Shape of objects: Points of white light.

Full Description of event/sighting: I was walking north in Islington St with my friend, towards Bloor St. We had been talking about the big dipper, so we were looking up at the sky a lot. I spotted a group of moving lights, fairly faint but moving with some speed across the sky. I thought it was a jet aircraft because it resembled the outline of one, but there was no silhouette on the sky, and there were no blinking lights at all. At one point, I saw them fly in front of a bright star overhead, and the star didn’t wink, so there was no solid body there. There was also no noise or anything. I pointed them out to my friend just before they went down behind some trees. I thought they were maybe satellites flying in some elaborate formation, but to be honest I have no idea what they were. I’m curious if anyone else in the Toronto area saw the same thing as me. They moved from the northwest to the south east.

UFOs and a Flying Rod at the Sand Banks, Ontario, Canada

Paul Shishis has visited the Sand Banks for a number of years. He reports of strange UFO activity in the region. In July this year, Paul and his family were on vacation at the Sand Banks where he witnessed and photographed silver disc craft and orange spheres. He was also able catch a flying rod on video.

Interestingly, Paul also mentions military helicopters where seen in the skies on the next day. Was it just a coincidence?
“I have been coming to the Sand Banks for the past 13 years with my boys to camp. I have sighted a gambit of different types of ufo’s. I have been sighting them since 1967, to 2002- only in the month of August.
Starting on March 3,2003 in Scarborough, Ontario after 12:02 pm. I noticed the pattern of the month changed and so did the numbers of UFO sightings increase to peak. It has surged in numbers unbelievable starting back on March 3,2003. In 2003 alone, I have witnessed 16 sightings, and witnessed a flying three foot rod creature, with two eyes at the Sand Banks.
The date would be either on Aug.6 or 7, 2003, near 1:00am. Since 2005, I now carry a camera, which is my best witness to any sightings,” says Paul Shishis.

There are three interesting objects on the images we received from Paul. We have the disc craft at the upper left corner, the orange spheres in the centre and the dark cloud to the right.

Object Makes U Turn – Lake Simcoe, Ontario

Date: July 20, 2007
Time: 11:45 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Lake Simcoe, Ontario.
Number of witnesses: 1
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Bright starlike.

Full Description of event/sighting: It approached from northwest heading south east and flew at high speed in a steady course 45 degrees up from the horizon, just below the first star in the handle of the big dipper constellation in the background sky. There were no flashing lights as on an airliner etc. and no sound audible. I observed object flying straight for 5 seconds. It made very tight up-turn at full speed, flying back (northwest) parallel of original course back about half way.

The object performed sudden and even faster 90 degree turn to the west. Accelerated and in a streak and disappeared in the sky. The sky over the lake that night was absolutely cloud free, of light pollution from surrounding town and 3+ magnitude (See Note Below) stars could easily been seen. The local geography offered a clear view from horizon west to horizon north without any obstruction to the skyline. Thank you.

Can anyone please let me know about other Lake Simcoe encounters.

Brightness/Magnitude

The brightness of a star (or anything else in the sky) is called its magnitude. You’ll encounter this term often.

The magnitude system began about 2,100 years ago when the Greek astronomer Hipparchus divided stars into brightness classes. He called the brightest ones “1st magnitude,” meaning simply “the biggest.” Those a little fainter he called “2nd magnitude,” meaning second biggest, and so on down to the faintest ones he could see: “6th magnitude”.

With the invention of the telescope, observers could see even fainter stars. Thus 7th, 8th, and 9th magnitudes were added. Today binoculars will show stars as faint as 8th or 9th magnitude, and an amateur’s 6-inch telescope will go to 12th or 13th. The Hubble Space Telescope has seen to about 30th magnitude — which is nearly 10 billion times fainter than the faintest stars visible to the unaided eye.

On the other end of the scale, it turns out that some of Hipparchus’s “1st-magnitude” stars are a lot brighter than others. To accommodate them, the scale now extends into negative numbers. Vega is zero (0) magnitude, and Sirius, the brightest star in the sky, is magnitude –1.4. Venus is even brighter, usually magnitude –4. The full Moon shines at magnitude –13, and the Sun, magnitude –27.

An Unknown Dark Object – Toronto, Ontario

Date: July 21, 2007
Time: Approx: 9:15 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Toronto Ontario.
Number of witnesses: 3 + (?)
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Very difficult to describe.

HBCC UFO Research Note: Seeing there were alot of people in the immediate area, and since the sighting took place over downtown Toronto, there must have been others who saw this event take place. So if anyone else did observe this unusual object would you please file a report to HBCC UFO Research.

Full Description of event/sighting: On Saturday July 21 at approximately 9:15 pm (I never thought to check my watch at the time though), I saw an object in the sky in the middle of the city of Toronto.

I was on a busy roof-top patio full of people. I was looking at a construction crane which was to the north of where I was and noticed something in the sky. Initially I thought it was nothing more than a black garbage bag blowing around. It then occurred to me that it was not windy outside at all (it was a beautiful calm, clear evening) and that the object was quite high up (although I could not see the ground and the object at the same time). When I realized that there was something odd about what I was seeing, I pointed it out to the person I was with, it turns out they too had been watching it in an attempt to determine what it was. We both agreed that the object was abnormal and quickly tried to get the attention of several other people who were standing/talking with us. Few took any note, but there were at least three of us that watched the object move through the sky.

The object moved from north to south (in the direction of lake Ontario). The object was moving very smoothly, it did not change direction, it was very consistent and did not appear to change its elevation. The size is extremely hard to determine since there was nothing to compare it to (it passed behind a building, but I do not recall it passing in front of anything). I also could not see the ground from where I was so I could not determine its elevation or make a reasonable guess as to its size or distance from me. From where I was the object was quite small (smaller than the moon for example). The object was completely black, it had no lights on it and I was unable to even tell what material it may have been.

The shape of the object is surprisingly hard for me to explain. It was definitely not a plane as it had no wings, nor was it a helicopter. I would not call it a saucer because it was not completely round, nor was it flat, but it did look like it had something protruding from the top. My surroundings were noisy, so I cannot determine whether the object made any noise but when helicopters move through the city they make a lot of noise and there was nothing noticeable coming from the object. It moved at a good pace, approximately the speed of a plane, maybe a bit faster. We followed it until a high rise office building blocked it from our view. In total the sighting time felt like a long time but was probably no more than 2-3 minutes. Again, the object was definitely not a plane or a helicopter, it was around dusk and the object had no lights on it at all.

This sighting occurred in the middle of the city of Toronto (north of Bloor St. near Bay St.) on a beautiful Saturday night, the streets were busy, we could not have been the only people to see it could we?

Aylmer, Ontario – Cylinder And Black Dot Observed

Date: July 22, 1978 Time: 1:30 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Eastern sky driving towards Aylmer.
Number of witnesses: 2
Number of objects: 2
Shape of objects: Cylindrical, and white, tiny black circle.

Full Description of event/sighting: We were driving admiring the white clouds in the blue sky, when an object caught my eye. It looked like a flat cloud, it was sitting totally still. I told my boyfriend to look, because it looked kind of weird. We were both staring at it when it just completely vanished, we both let out a big whoa, then right where it vanished was a tiny black dot that was moving around behind a cloud, at which time the dot disappeared and the cylinder reappeared. It vanished again, and that was it.

A Silvery White Round Object – Ottawa, Ontario, Canada

Posted: July 14, 2007

Date: July 8, 2007 Time: Daytime sighting.

Approach Direction: Southern Sky. Departure Direction: n/a. Witness Direction: Southern.

Description: I was returning from the downtown area, travelling in a southern direction on the Airport Parkway approaching the Hunt club exist when I saw this odd object in the sky. It was a rather intermittent cloud covered sky and there were fast patches of clear blue sky as well. As I was approaching the Hunt Club exit, I noticed this very silvery-white, somewhat round object in the sky at about 20-28 thousand feet. I captured my attention because it was so bright due to the sun coming through the clouds in the north and shining it’s rays upon it. It sparkled like a diamond would have if put into the sunlight. And It was just there all of a sudden, which also caught my attention.

As I watched it, and thought it was a cool reflection of a plane, at first, realized that it wasn’t moving but appeared to be stationary. I had a clear view as it was straight in my line of sight through my windshield as I travelled towards it. I would say the object was hovering high above the army base stationed there. I look at it for about 1 minute as I tried to decipher what it was and then resigned myself to it being a star. Mind you the only one out at that time (7:45pm) and with the sun shining through so brightly. And, then I blink…and it was just gone…like it had appeared.

I found it strange and was wondering if anyone else noticed? I’m an educated professional and mature individual that wants to know the truth about all this.

Thanks.

Color/Shape: somewhat oval in shape with bright shiny and smooth silver metal. I saw no lights on the object.

Height & Speed: Height about 27 thousand feet fairly low to the horizon.

Downtown Toronto, Ontario A Oval Shaped Light Wobbles

Date: July 12, 2007 Time: 3:30 a.m.

Location of Sighting: Downtown Toronto on top of Merchandise Building at church and Dundas.

Number of witnesses: 1

Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Oval.

Full Description of event/sighting: I was on the rooftop patio of the building at the time having a cigarette. When I looked up to the sky there was an oval shaped light that seemed to have appeared from space. It then was travelling straight but wobbled slightly from east to west overtop the downtown buildings above the CN Tower, but below the clouds. It was travelling as fast as a jet fighter. It then stopped and seemed to have disappeared west. This all occurred in about 3 minutes.

Port Colborne, Ontario A White Round Object

I wanted to bring this sighting report to the reader’s attention because this is the type of sightings I had in the past amongst other types. The type of lights you can’t identify to satellites, stars or any other natural phenomena… And god knows how many alleged satellites we have seen.

Posted: July 11, 2007

Date: June 9, 2007 Time: 10:20 p.m.

Approach Direction: North. Departure Direction: South. Witness Direction: East.

Description: While stargazing on a very clear night spotted white round object which appeared just like another star. Noticed within a couple of seconds that object was moving in a straight line trajectory from north to south. Object had very unusual sudden shifts of position. It would jut either up or down from the straight line it was traveling in and took small hops at times like a skipping stone effect. This would occur with such speed that it seemed it would be in one spot and suddenly in another at the same instant. My wife and father-in-law also saw this.

Color/Shape: white and round

Height & Speed: very hard to tell maybe 40,000 to 50,000 ft. speed also hard to estimate but sudden movements were like light speed.
