Dr. Edgar Mitchell

I liked how Dr. Mitchell was presented in the following article. It is an excellent overview of what he accomplished to get where he is now.

Ever since I was a child, I have been enamored by the space program. I read endlessly about astronauts, about rockets, the Saturn V, the moon landings, everything. I always envisioned my life as being part of this program that I loved so much. As is the case with most people, my life didn´t turn out quite like I thought it would. It turned out better! I am married to a wonderful woman that I might not have met had my life went where I thought it should.

One of my heroes was an astronaut named Edgar Mitchell. Mitchell was the sixth man to walk on the moon, and holds the record for the longest moon walk on foot, a total of 9 hours and 17 minutes, which occurred on February 9, 1971. I was getting ready to celebrate my second birthday!

Edgar Mitchell attended Carnegie Institute of Technology, obtaining a bachelors degree in industrial management. In 1953, he joined the US Navy, serving as a pilot, eventually becoming a research and test pilot. He continued his education, obtaining a bachelors degree in aeronautical engineering, then a Doctorate of Science in Aeronautics and Astronautics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Becoming an astronaut in 1966, his only space mission was as Landing Module pilot on Apollo 14 with Alan Shepard. It was at this time that his historic moonwalk occurred.

Dr. Mitchell retired from NASA in 1972. Since that time, Mitchell has been trying to get a message out to the American public that we are not alone.

UFOs: We believe! Another Survey.

That’s the view of almost half the people surveyed in an exclusive Sun poll, with many more claiming to have seen a UFO or believing in them.

With record numbers of unexplained objects being spotted in the skies over Britain on Saturday night, a huge majority of us reckon alien life exists somewhere in the universe, even if it has yet to touch down on Earth.

Crop circles are commonly cited as evidence of alien visits.

But the discovery of life-supporting water in the form of ice on Mars is regarded as an even bigger sign alien life exists.

Vatican scientist says belief in God and aliens is OK

VATICAN CITY (Reuters) – The Vatican’s chief astronomer says there is no conflict between believing in God and in the possibility of “extraterrestrial brothers” perhaps more evolved than humans.

“In my opinion this possibility (of life on other planets) exists,” said Rev. Jose Gabriel Funes, a 45-year-old Jesuit priest who is head of the Vatican Observatory and a scientific adviser to Pope Benedict.

“How can we exclude that life has developed elsewhere,” he told the Vatican newspaper L’Osservatore Romano in an interview in its Tuesday-Wednesday edition, explaining that the large number of galaxies with their own planets made this possible.

Asked if he was referring to beings similar to humans or even more evolved than humans, he said: “Certainly, in a universe this big you can’t exclude this hypothesis”.

In the interview headlined “The extraterrestrial is my brother,” he said he saw no conflict between belief in such beings and faith in God.

I can’t understand why people are still saying their would be panic upon disclosure. We have been prepared for this for decades. TV shows, the work of NASA in exploring space, the Disclosure Project, movies like E.T., Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Contact, etc. And we also understand that if they were Hostile, we wouldn’t be breathing this air. Christian Theologians Prepare for Extraterrestrial Life

Little green men might shock the secular public. But the Catholic Church would welcome them as brothers.

That’s what Vatican chief astronomer and papal science adviser Gabriel Funes explained in a recent article in L’Osservatore Romano, the newsletter of the Vatican Observatory (translated here). His conclusion might surprise nonbelievers. After all, isn’t this the same church that imprisoned Galileo for saying that the Earth revolves around the sun? Doesn’t the Bible say that God created man — not little green men — in his image?

Indeed, many observers assert that aliens would be bad for believers. Jill Tarter, director of the Center for SETI Research, once wrote that finding intelligent other-worldly life “will be inconsistent with the existence of God or at least organized religions.” But such predictions tend to come from outside Christianity. From within, theologians have debated the implications of alien contact for centuries. And if one already believes in angels, no great leap of faith is required to accept the possibility of other extraterrestrial intelligences.

Finally! Another man that believes we can get into a win/win relation with our space brothers. This was a fresh breath of air coming from the media. I’m far from been convinced the guy behind the window is one of them. Pictures are almost irrelevant at this point, since technology is so advanced, this can all be faked.

I don’t see the motivation behind showing up behind a window and just looking in, for what seem to be no reasons. My truth meter would say, this was staged.

New Book Discloses UFO Crash

A retired U.S. Air Force colonel and former fighter jet pilot says that he chased a UFO across West Texas and watched it crash along the Rio Grande River near Del Rio, Texas. Shortly after, he visited the crash site and saw a metallic object unlike any aircraft he had ever seen “sticking into the side of a hill.” Decorated World War II and Korean War veteran Robert B. Denver man wants city prepared for space aliens

Great initiative! I raise my hat to him

DENVER (AP) – A Denver man wants the city to be prepared for possible space aliens and he’s drafted a proposal that would create a commission to deal with the matter.

The city will hold a “review and comment” meeting next Thursday on Jeff Peckman’s proposed ballot initiative to create an 18-member ET commission. Peckman says the Extraterrestrial Affairs Commission would form a strategy “dealing with issues related to the presence of extraterrestrial beings on Earth.”

Denver assistant City Attorney David Broadwell says he doesn’t know what city officials will ask Peckman during the hearing.

The 54-year-old needs 4,000 signatures to get the proposal on the ballot.

Peckman sponsored a 2003 initiative that would require the city to implement stress-reduction techniques. That idea didn’t garner enough support from voters.

Paul Hellyer with another out of this world presentation. It’s always great to hear a political figure speaking about the ET phenomena. I’m not a big fan of Stephen Bassett, which is the guy behind the X-Conference, I don’t agree with his bi-lateral perspective on our relationship with ET, but I have to give him this, he brought together some important figures. I just dearly hope that at some point they won’t spin their whole story to present some ET as malevolent. Mr. Hellyer points out the important fact that our planes were lost during dogfights, due to our stupidity. It has been demonstrated over the years that the saucers don’t attack our fighters, but only defend themselves with magnetic counter measures. It’s the pilot’s fault, while engaging our space brothers, if they lost control of their planes… now why does this makes sense to me? Paul Hellyer said:

“I wish I were in a mood for good humour, but I am not. We are hell-bent in the direction of destroying our planet, and we appear to be doing precious little about it.

Decades ago visitors from other planets warned us about where we were headed, and offered to help. But instead, we, or at least some of us, interpreted their visits as a threat, and decided to shoot first and ask questions afterward. The inevitable result was that some of our planes were lost; but how many were due to retaliation, and how many were a result of our own stupidity is a moot point.

Wilbert Smith, one of the first Canadians to take an active interest in the subject of UFOs, asked the visitors about the accidental destruction of our aircraft by flying into the vicinity of a flying saucer. The response: we were informed that although a few of our aircraft had come to an unfortunate end by what they considered colossal stupidity of our pilots, they were now taking corrective measures to avoid our aircraft.

I asked them what happened, and they said, ‘Well, the fields around the saucers in order to hold them up, in order to produce the gravity differential, the time field differential which were necessary to operate the ship, these sometimes produced field combinations which reduced the strength of materials to the point where they were no longer strong enough to carry the load that the materials were expected to carry’.

Now, as we know, aircraft, particularly, the military type, are built with a rather small factor of safety, and in these regions of reduced binding, the materials are no longer strong enough to carry the load and the craft simply comes apart.

This didn’t satisfy our military chiefs who must have thought that it was more important to secure American nuclear superiority- even though using it would result in the annihilation of us all- than to take the hint and start moving the planet back from the brink of a global holocaust.

They, the military, must have been and still are, so paranoid that they feel it necessary to use the visitors’ technology to fight them off, rather than welcome them as partners in development- though they may have seconded some renegades to assist in what can best be viewed as diabolical developments.

Stephen (Bassett) has said that talking about UFO’s is passé and that we should be talking about exo-politics. In theory, I agree, but in reality we have a problem when official U.S. policy insists that UFO’s don’t exist. The veil of secrecy must be lifted-and now, before it is too late.

It is ironic that the U.S. would begin a devastating war-allegedly in search of weapons of mass destruction- when the most worrisome developments in this field are occurring in your own back yard.

It is ironic that the U.S. should be fighting monstrously expensive wars in Iraq and Afghanistan allegedly to bring democracy to those two countries when it, itself, can no longer legitimately claim to be called a democracy when trillions of dollars have been spent on projects about which both the Congress and the Commander in Chief have been deliberately kept in the dark.

How much has been accomplished in sixty years of feverish activity by some of the most highly educated minds in the U.S.? Has America developed flying saucers that are visually indistinguishable from the visitors, as alleged? And if so, what do they propose to do with them?

Even more critical, what progress has been made in the development of clean energy sources that could replace fossil fuels and save the planet from becoming a veritable wasteland? Who has the answers? Someone does, but apparently they aren’t telling either secretaries of defence or presidents because they do not have a need to know.

In a story told by Dr Stephen Greer, President Clinton was asked a question by White House reporter Sarah McClendon about why he didn’t do something about UFO disclosure. Clinton replied, ‘Sarah, there is a government inside the government and I don’t control it’.

Excuse me. Doesn’t the Commander in Chief and the person who allegedly has his finger on the nuclear trigger have a right to know what his subordinatess are doing?

The people of the United States who have paid the bills have a right to know.

The people of the world demand to know because it is our descendants, too, whose lives are in mortal jeopardy.

It is time for the people of the U.S. to launch a new war against the evil of lies, deceit, and darkness, and go all out to win the victory of truth, transparency, and light.”

With Hillary Clinton”s presidential campaign wheezing, it would be logical to assume the New York senator would appreciate every endorsement she can get. But it ain’t necessarily so.

This weekend in Gaithersburg, Md., just outside the nation’s capital, the only registered congressional lobbyist advocating UFO disclosure hearings — Steve Bassett — is staging his annual X-Conference. Its keynote speaker is Apollo astronaut Edgar Mitchell, who has long pressed for declassification of government UFO data and has labeled the enduring cover-up as potentially “a case of criminal culpability.”

But undoubtedly the most annoying X-Conference speaker to a Clinton-bashing law firm called Judicial Watch is a guy named Grant Cameron.

Wow! Smart Lady. It’s very refreshing to see that someone actually gets it. This comes in line with what Dr. Von Braun and Carol Rosin were saying. ET haven’t been proven to be malevolent, but it is nearly certain the elites in place will try to spin this into a fear based propaganda to weaponize space. UFO disclosure overdue

It is the rights and responsibilities of citizens of Earth to diligently exhaust all methods and potential options of solving the world’s current energy dependence.

The global movement of “disclosure” is demanding the release of the classified UFO documents and patents to allow public consumption and implementation.

Former Minister of Defense Paul Hellyer, who served in three administrations, has spoken of this recently. France, Spain, Britain and Brazil have started releasing official documents and asking for disclosure. Now, as Canadians, it is our turn to ask the tough questions.

We can’t let another generation grow up without access to the real science and physics that make the technology work. Not to mention, have that generation believe they can’t touch the stars.

What do we have to lose by asking Parliament to hold hearings on the disclosure of UFO/technological advances?
