Getting our kids ready for the next War.

About a 2 years ago, I was deep into 1st person shooters. At the time, I was heavily playing Call Of Duty at work, and I remember reflecting on the game. I thought, this is pretty much like training kids, so they get better for the war on the field? This makes me sick.

I have sinced moved away from all 1st shooters, and I was a heavy user for 15 years, starting with Wolfenstein and Doom during college and University.

I also believe that games have an effect on the consciousness field, which is why I moved away from them. I have a serious restriction on games for my child too. There is a vast selection, so I don’t see the reason why he should be playing these violent games.
