Former Governor Jesse Ventura: WTC Collapse A Controlled Demolition

Former Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura vehemently savaged the official 9/11 story on a syndicated national radio show today, saying the WTC collapsed like a controlled demolition and was pulverized to dust as he also highlighted the impossible 10 second free fall speed of the towers.

Appearing on The Alex Jones Show, Ventura said that his initial reaction to 9/11 was much like most people at the time, and he accepted the official story outright, a response he now regrets because he was in a position of power and could have used it to raise a lot of pointed questions.

“I kicked myself when it initially happened that the light didn’t go off but I was so shocked that this thing had even taken place that I apologize for not being more aware,” said Ventura, adding that watching Loose Change at the insistence of his son was part of the catalyst for his wake up call.

Lotfi Raissi allowed to claim compensation from been wrongly accused

Lotfi Raissi, an Algerian pilot wrongly accused of training some of the September 11 hijackers, should be allowed to claim compensation, the UK’s high court has ruled.

“I wept with relief when I heard the judgment,” Raissi said outside the court, following the decision. “I have always said I believed in British justice and I finally got it today.”

Raissi said his wrongful arrest had ruined his life and left him blacklisted as a pilot and unable to work…

His name had been on an FBI watchlist and he became the first person to be accused of participating in the attacks. After five months as a category A prisoner in Belmarsh high security prison, in south-east London, he was released when a judge ruled there was no evidence whatsoever to connect him with terrorism.

A video the FBI claimed showed Raissi with Hani Hanjour, one of the hijackers, was revealed in court to be footage of him with his cousin. The government refused to compensate him for wrongful arrest and imprisonment and claims the British authorities were acting properly on an American request.

ITALIAN SAYS 9-11 SOLVED

It’s common knowledge, he reveals, CIA, Mossad behind terror attacks

Former Italian President Francesco Cossiga, who revealed the existence of Operation Gladio, has told Italy’s oldest and most widely read newspaper that the 9-11 terrorist attacks were run by the CIA and Mossad, and that this was common knowledge among global intelligence agencies. In what translates awkwardly into English, Cossiga told the newspaper Corriere della Sera:

“All the [intelligence services] of America and Europe…know well that the disastrous attack has been planned and realized from the Mossad, with the aid of the Zionist world in order to put under accusation the Arabic countries and in order to induce the western powers to take part … in Iraq [and] Afghanistan.”

Cossiga was elected president of the Italian Senate in July 1983 before winning a landslide election to become president of the country in 1985, and he remained until 1992.

Cossiga’s tendency to be outspoken upset the Italian political establishment, and he was forced to resign after revealing the existence of, and his part in setting up, Operation Gladio. This was a rogue intelligence network under NATO auspices that carried out bombings across Europe in the 1960s, 1970s and ’80s. Gladio’s specialty was to carry out what they termed “false flag” operations—terror attacks that were blamed on their domestic and geopolitical opposition.

In March 2001, Gladio agent Vincenzo Vinciguerra stated, in sworn testimony, “You had to attack civilians, the people, women, children, innocent people, unknown people far removed from any political game. The reason was quite simple: to force … the public to turn to the state to ask for greater security.”

Cossiga first expressed his doubts about 9-11 in 2001, and is quoted by 9-11 researcherWebster Tarpley saying “The mastermind of the attack must have been a sophisticated mind, provided with ample means not only to recruit fanatic kamikazes, but also highly specialized personnel. I add one thing: it could not be accomplished without infiltrations in the radar and
flight security personnel.”

Coming from a widely respected former head of state, Cossiga’s assertion that the 9-11 attacks were an inside job and that this is common knowledge among global intelligence agencies is illuminating. It is one more eye-opening confirmation that has not been mentioned by America’s propaganda machine in print or on TV. Nevertheless, because of his experience and status in the world, Cossiga cannot be discounted as a crackpot.

Many Americans still believe in conspiracies

Nearly two-thirds of Americans think it is possible that some federal officials had specific warnings of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks on New York and Washington, but chose to ignore those warnings, according to a Scripps Howard News Service/Ohio University poll.

A national survey of 811 adult residents of the United States conducted by Scripps and Ohio University found that more than a third believe in a broad smorgasbord of conspiracy theories including the attacks, international plots to rig oil prices, the plot to assassinate President John F. Kennedy in 1963 and the government’s knowledge of intelligent life from other worlds.

The high percentage is a manifestation, some say, of an American public that increasingly distrusts the federal government.

“You wouldn’t have gotten these numbers a year or two after the attacks themselves,” said University of Florida law professor Mark Fenster. “You’ve got an increasingly disaffected public that is unhappy with the administration.”

Fenster, author of the book “Conspiracy Theories: Secrecy and Power in American Culture,” attributed the high percentage in part to the findings of the National Commission on Terrorist Attacks upon the United States (also called the 9/11 Commission), which concluded federal officials failed to prevent the attacks, but did not have specific knowledge of the date of the attacks.

An earlier Scripps Howard/Ohio University survey, conducted in July 2006, revealed that more than one-third of Americans thought federal officials assisted in the 9/11 attacks or took no action to stop them so the United States could go to war in the Middle East.

“What (the recent survey) could mean is that people are thinking that the Bush administration is incompetent, that there were warnings out there and they chose to put their attention on other things,” Fenster said.

At a time when the price of crude oil has neared $100 per barrel, 81 percent of Americans also said it was “somewhat likely” or “very likely” that oil companies conspire to keep the price of gasoline high.

“It shows that the oil companies are not trusted by a lot of people,” said Tyson Slocum, director of the Energy Program of Public Citizen, the consumer watchdog organization founded by Ralph Nader.

Record-breaking quarterly profits stir the pot, too.

“People look at the huge profits and put two and two together,” he said. “‘Those high prices I’m paying are fueling those profits.’”

All the talk about oil and terror has distracted some of the believers in government cover-ups of UFOs. Thirty-seven percent of the respondents said they think it is “very likely” or “somewhat likely” flying saucers are real and the government is hiding the truth about them. In a 1995 Scripps survey, 50 percent of Americans responded the same way to the same question.

“The kind of anxieties or mistrust of the government that might have been expressed as a belief in UFOs has shifted,” said political science professor Jodi Dean. “Now people are worried about things that are much realer to them.”

“In both instances, it’s a case of mistrusting government,” she said.

Dean, a professor at Hobart and William Smith Colleges in New York and author of “Aliens in America: Conspiracy Cultures from Outerspace to Cyberspace,” also said that the 50th anniversary of the 1947 Roswell, N.M., incident put more focus on the notion of a conspiracy.

Dean said she expects the popularity of the theory to decline even further during the next few decades.

But one decades-old theory continues to thrive. Forty-two percent of the American public still thinks some people in the federal government might have known about the assassination of Kennedy in advance.

“I’m amazed that it’s as high as it is,” said Vincent Bugliosi, whose 1,632-page book “Reclaiming History: The Assassination of President John F. Kennedy” was published in May.

Bugliosi’s book comes to the opposite conclusion: Lee Harvey Oswald shot Kennedy, and he did it on his own.

Bugliosi said he thinks a majority of Americans believe in some sort of conspiracy surrounding the assassination or the investigating Warren Commission, but most of the questions he has fielded on his book tour revolve around the suspicions of CIA or mob involvement.

“They believe in a conspiracy,” he said, “and I think (the survey) allowed them to express their beliefs.”

The survey was conducted by telephone Sept. 24 to Oct. 10 among 811 adult residents of the United States who were selected at random. The survey was conducted by the Scripps Survey Research Center at Ohio University under a grant from the Scripps Howard Foundation and has a margin of error of about 4 percent.

A man who was working in the World Trade Center on 9/11 has told WeAreChange.org that he personally witnessed explosions in the lobby area after he left the building to buy hot dogs at the same time that the first plane hit the north tower.

“Once the plane hit the top, that’s when the bombs started going off on the first floor,” said Dean Brown.

“It’s like the plane actually hit the first floor.”

“You were hearing boom, boom, boom, boom from the top floor all the way down to the first floor.”

The eyewitness also describes talking to devastated firefighters who told him there were bombs in the building.

FBI Refuses To Confirm Identities Of 4 Aircraft Used During 9/11 Attacks

A Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request of the Federal Bureau of Investigation for documentation confirming the recovery and positive identification of debris from the commercial aircraft allegedly used in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 (N334AA, N612UA, N644AA, N591UA), has been denied.

An appeal is pending.

According to the FBI, “the material requested is located in an investigative file which is exempt from disclosure pursuant to Title 5, United States Code, Section 552, subsection (b) (7) (A).”

This subsection reads: “could be reasonably be expected to interfere with enforcement proceedings.”

Concerns of compromising any related, unspecified and presumably pending “enforcement proceedings” did not prevent the release of government exhibits containing images of aircraft debris allegedly of United Airlines flight 93 and American Airlines flight 77, following the successful prosecution of alleged 9/11 co-conspirator Zacarias Moussaoui, on May 4, 2006:

Seven CIA Veterans Challenge 9/11 Commission Report

The 9/11 Report is a joke,” said Raymond McGovern, 27-year veteran of the CIA, who chaired National Intelligence Estimates during the seventies. “There are a whole bunch of unanswered questions. And the reason they’re unanswered is because this administration will not answer the questions,” he said. Approaching Critical Mass on the truth behind 9/11?

This message was passed on to me via the CSETI Forums. According to this message, in Honolulu, there are huge banners telling everyone that 9/11 was a lie and the Bush administration is responsible. He said, it’s right off the freeway and it’s a huge banner that looks like something very professionally made. What is strange is that no official news are reporting such thing…

Personally, what trigger me having a closer look to all this was the fact they “Pulled” the building 7 (Controlled demolition). Then from there, it went downhill. People have to realise that if they were found responsible for the event, they would be guilty of treason and hung.
