Strange lights spotted floating over Newton-le-Willows

The truth may well be out there, but who would have thought it was floating over the skies of Newton-le-Willows?
This strange object was spotted hurtling through the night skies by several local residents.

It’s sudden appearance over homes on Wymbrel Avenue at around 9pm on Wednesday left many baffled.

Stuart Welsby was he returning from a shopping trip with wife Emma and their young son when he spotted a ‘glowing orange blob’ floating across the Newton skyline and took these pictures on his mobile phone.

Amazingly, he spotted the same strange glowing light at around the same time the following night.

Tesla Boosts Funding to Start Electric-Car Assembly

Feb. 8 (Bloomberg) — Tesla Motors Inc., aiming to be the first high-volume electric-car maker, raised an additional $40 million from Silicon Valley investors to ensure production can begin next month, following delays and a management shakeup.

Tesla is closing the “funding round right now,” Chairman Elon Musk said in an interview yesterday. San Carlos, California-based Tesla collected $100 million earlier from backers including Google Inc. founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin and venture-capital firms such as Technology Partners.

Diving Into the Extra-terrestrial Phenomenon

(This is the first article of a unique serie)

Late in the evening, on a day of may 2006, I was arguing with my friend that he had never told me about the disclosure project. “I told you, but you wouldn’t listen…you didn’t want to waste time on this”. I didn’t even give him a chance to show me? This is typical people’s reaction to the first exposure on the subject. I was in the same boat and reacted exactly like people do now when they are exposed to the subject.

We were working on another Xbox title at the time. A good friend came over to my desk, and told me he had found something very interesting on Google Video. In need of a break, we both sat and started watching what would trigger a turning point in my life. I hear Jon Cypher introduce Dr. Steven Greer, still curious as to what my friend is showing me. This was the Disclosure Project National Press Club Conference video.

…We are here today, to disclose the truth about a subject that has been ridiculed, questioned, denied for at least 50 years…to the so called UFO matter and extra-terrestrial intelligence, can prove and will prove that we are not alone…

My jaw dropped, I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. I looked at my friend and said: “Is this true?”. He confirmed, saying this is the real deal. I watched the entire video, one witness after the other, almost in shock. This would be what would launch a lifetime pursuit for the truth.

From there, I began reading pretty much everything I found and watched every video I could about The Disclosure Project, CSETI, Steven Greer and all the witnesses that were present at the Disclosure Project National Press Club Conference. For days, all the spare time I had was to research. And slowly I was gathering knowledge that would lead me to take my first trip outside Canada. The destination was Mt. Shasta in California. There, I would met with Steven Greer, his team and some 30-40 people that were also looking to get some answers.

It was not an easy decision to make, as people would realize, those expeditions at first might seem costly. Costly trip, lodging and the training fee. At the time, I realized that I was taking a risk to spend a large sum of money and might come back without any answers to my questions. A risk that paid off, as you will see in my next articles.

So I went prepared, unlike some other people that were present that week of September 2006. I read through the entire Training kit, listened to all the CD’s and read : “Hidden Truth – Forbidden Knowledge”. I could hardly sleep for 4 days, as my understanding of this world shifted into the reality of covert operations, corrupted agents, corporate operations without any kind of oversight. Things wouldn’t be simple anymore. I couldn’t just sit in front of my computer days and nights. For the good of my sons and the children of this planet, I had to Act!

The first step would be to head to the training, learn what I could and see from there what would be the next step. I can tell you, a week long of lectures, remote view exercises, and field work was just amazing. I shared room with 3 guys, that quickly became friends. Two of them were from Vancouver, a Father and Son. Luckily, I got in touch with him before leaving Ottawa and was able to get some crucial information before heading to California. He gave me some insights on gear, and he also told me what he had experienced just a year ago, at the same spot, with CSETI. This was his 2nd trip with CSETI I believe.

I also connected with a young guy from Ireland and we touch base on occasions. Another man that was with us is a crop circle and consciousness specialist from Denmark. Amazing guy, with an amazing spirit. Had the best time I had in a long time with all of them. One gentleman from the U.S. also offered to share car rental, so he picked up us in Redding. I’ve stayed in contact with him ever since.

(In the next article, I’ll give details on my first CSETI expedition experience.)

A 10/9/97 letter from Sen. John McCain to a constituent about the so-called Phoenix Lights is making the Internet rounds (at http://frankwarren.blogspot.com/2008/02/senator-john-mccain-tasked-air-force-to.html) just in time for next month’s anniversary commemoration in Scottsdale. But to the amazement of Dr. Lynn Kitei, no one has bothered to press the de facto Republican presidential nominee for an updated response.

Kitei is a Phoenix physician whose world view went sideways when an apparent V-shaped UFO surprised untold numbers of Arizonans on the evening of March 13, 1997. Kitei had seen and even photographed strange lights in the night sky two months earlier, but the mass sightings on that date ultimately drew her into the limelight as a lead investigator.

Kitei’s work wound up in a documentary and a book by the same name, “The Phoenix Lights.” On the 11th anniversary of that event, she’ll be unveiling an expanded version of the doc that features, among other things, a commercial airline pilot eyewitness and a 911 dispatcher who’ll reportedly reveal how police helicopters were involved in the drama.

Not unlike the Stephenville, Tex., UFO incident on Jan. 8 this year, the military initially denied it had planes in the air that night. But McCain reported to a letter writer that an official at Davis-Monthan AFB in Tucson assured him the lights were flares dropped by A-10s from a visiting Maryland National Guard unit, from an altitude of 15,000 feet, from roughly 9:30 to 10 p.m.

But according to Kitei’s timeline, people reported seeing the UFO from as early as 5 p.m. to as late as 2 a.m., with the bulk of the sightings rolling in from 8:30 p.m. to 9:40 p.m.

The story has morphed since then, most notably with the testimony of former Arizona guv Fife Symington. In 1997, when he was still in office, Symington ridiculed the reports. Last year, he reversed himself, claimed he was an eyewitness to something “enormous and inexplicable” (see http://www.freedomofinfo.org/news/symington-story.pdf), and flatly discounted the military flares explanation.

Symington has since become a public advocate for government disclosure; in November, he introduced an international cast of likeminded pilots and aviation authorities to the National Press Club in Washington.

The media has given McCain a pass on this whopper of a national security issue that asserted itself in his own back yard. Fox News’ Chris Wallace playfully asked McCain in November if he’d ever seen a UFO during his Navy pilot career (“I can’t say that I did, but I kept looking all the time”), but clearly the MSM doesn’t have the chops for an extended conversation.

“I’m really surprised that nobody has pinned him down, or even tried to,” says Kitei. “If anything, interest in what happened has just been growing and growing. Too many people have seen and are seeing things.”

Maybe, like Symington, McCain will come out of the closet once his political career is over. In the meantime, just for the hell of it, you can reach the Senator at: John McCain 2008, P.O. Box 16118, Arlington, VA 22215, 703-418-2008.

Who to believe: UFO sightings

In 1952, in an attempt to cope with the public outcry concerning hundreds of reports of UFOs, the U.S. Air Force organized “Project Blue Book” whose primary objective was to collect and analyze citizen reports of UFO sightings. The chief scientific consultant for that project was a well-respected Northwestern University astronomy professor, J. Allen Hynek.

When Hynek first began his UFO research, he was very doubtful that the purported UFO sightings were of any real significance. In fact, during a 1966 congressional hearing on UFOs, he indicated that “the whole subject seemed utterly ridiculous,” and he thought the sightings were a fad which would soon pass. However, after decades of analyzing hundreds of UFO reports from airline pilots, military personnel, police officers, public officials, psychologists, astronomers and other scientists, Hynek said his opinion started to shift. He believed something was going on and serious research was needed to understand what it was. In a 1985 interview with Dennis Stacy, when asked what caused his change of opinion, he responded: It … “was the completely negative and unyielding attitude of the Air Force. They wouldn’t give UFOs the chance of existing even if they were flying up and down the street in broad daylight.” In the late 1970s, Hynek also told a group of students and faculty at Southern Illinois University-Carbondale that his team fudged the data on “Project Blue Book.” He said they could explain only 80 percent of the sightings, and the 20 percent that could not be explained were often omitted from reports, and then used by the team for more in-depth research.

UFO Facts and a Solution to the Energy Crisis

This 10-page summary of witness testimony on UFO facts is taken from the book Disclosure, compiled by Steven M. Greer, MD. Page numbers from the book for each excerpt are given at the end of each statement. These testimonies were taken verbatim from video interviews with the witnesses, which include astronauts, generals, admirals, other top government and military officials. Both the book and witness videos can be purchased at the website www.disclosureproject.org. For a two-page summary of these UFO facts, click here.

Disclosure Project, Founder and Director, Editor of Disclosure, Steven M. Greer, MD

Advanced spacecraft of extraterrestrial origin have been downed, retrieved and studied since at least the 1940s. Significant technological breakthroughs in energy generation and propulsion have resulted from the study of these objects. We have insiders and scientists who can prove that we do in fact possess energy generation systems capable of completely and permanently replacing all forms of currently used energy generation and transportation systems. The witnesses who have given testimony are extraordinarily brave men and women who have taken great personal risks in coming forward. Some have been threatened and intimidated. Not a single one of them has been paid for his or her testimony. Classified, above top-secret projects possess new energy generation systems that, if put into peaceful uses, would empower a new human civilization without want, poverty, or environmental damage. Every single person who is concerned about the environment and the human future should call for urgent hearings to allow these technologies to be disclosed, declassified and safely applied. pp. 5, 13 – 15. It often seems like science and spirituality are bitter enemies, incapable of playing nicely together. Scientists are not fond of ideas that can’t be tested; spiritual people say that the important things in life are beyond quantifying.

But Dean Radin firmly believes that both can get along, at least out on the far fringes where most of his work is done, investigating the extreme reaches of human consciousness.

Radin has been conducting experiments on psychic (or “psi”) phenomena since he was 13, an interest that led to appointments at Princeton University, the University of Edinburgh, the University of Nevada, SRI International and Interval Research Corporation. At SRI International he worked on a then-secret government-funded program of psi research, now declassified and dubbed Stargate.

In 2000, he cofounded the Boundary Institute and since 2001 he’s been the senior scientist at the Institute of Noetic Sciences, in Petaluma. He’s the author of the book “Entangled Minds: Extrasensory Experiences in a Quantum Reality,” which looks at how theories of quantum physics and other scientific discoveries may provide a logical explanation for psychic phenomena.

I spoke with Radin last week about mind-matter interaction, intentional thinking, New Age guilt and the power of chocolate.

MUFON investigates more Erath County UFO sighting reports

By ANGELIA JOINER – Stephenville Lights Reporter
ajoiner@stephenvillelights.com

Investigators with Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) collected seventeen new UFO sighting reports in Dublin, Texas, on Saturday, Feb. 23.

Not knowing what to expect in the way of numbers of witnesses, eight field investigators attended from the organization from Austin, Waco, Dallas/ Fort Worth, and said they were pleased with results.

Chief Investigator Steve Hudgeons was asked if he believed the new reports were credible and said investigators are often faced with reports from individuals only wanting to get in on the action.

“Of the reports I have reviewed, I didn’t get an impression that witnesses were not honest in their accounts,” Hudgeons said. “As I have said before, this is a very, very, significant sighting.”

"Doomsday Seed Vault" in the Arctic

One thing Microsoft founder Bill Gates can’t be accused of is sloth. He was already programming at 14, founded Microsoft at age 20 while still a student at Harvard. By 1995 he had been listed by Forbes as the world’s richest man from being the largest shareholder in his Microsoft, a company which his relentless drive built into a de facto monopoly in software systems for personal computers.

In 2006 when most people in such a situation might think of retiring to a quiet Pacific island, Bill Gates decided to devote his energies to his Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the world’s largest ‘transparent’ private foundation as it says, with a whopping $34.6 billion endowment and a legal necessity to spend $1.5 billion a year on charitable projects around the world to maintain its tax free charitable status. A gift from friend and business associate, mega-investor Warren Buffett in 2006, of some $30 billion worth of shares in Buffet’s Berkshire Hathaway put the Gates’ foundation into the league where it spends almost the amount of the entire annual budget of the United Nations’ World Health Organization.

So when Bill Gates decides through the Gates Foundation to invest some $30 million of their hard earned money in a project, it is worth looking at.

No project is more interesting at the moment than a curious project in one of the world’s most remote spots, Svalbard. Bill Gates is investing millions in a seed bank on the Barents Sea near the Arctic Ocean, some 1,100 kilometers from the North Pole. Svalbard is a barren piece of rock claimed by Norway and ceded in 1925 by international treaty (see map).

East Texans Shares "Family Secret" Of UFO Sighting

Amazing report, fantastic testimony. Journalism at it’s best. Thank you to Gillian Sheridan. I would like to also quote: “…I also don’t think that we have to worry about a huge threat from them because if that were their intention, that would have happened a long time ago…”
“I was not a big UFO person, didn’t know much about it other than my own experience.” Sitting in her Tyler, Texas home, Charlotte man tells us about her experience, which she calls the “family secret,” many of the details discovered on her grandparents deathbeds.

It was April, 1941 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Around 9:30 p.m., Charlotte’s grandfather, Reverend William Huffman, got a call about a plane crash and was asked to help. “When they got out there, it wasn’t a plane crash at all. It was a saucer, was how he described it,” says Charlotte.

According to the story, 3 alien bodies lie on the ground next to the spaceship; two already dead. “However, granddad said the third one when he got to him, he was breathing very shallow and so he did pray with him. He did expire as he was on his knees praying for him. He then went to the other two and prayed over them.”

Charlotte’s grandfather then took a closer look at the spaceship. “What he was most impressed with was in the inside there were writings, but he did not recognize it. He said it looked similar to hieroglyphics. The Egyptian hieroglyphics,” explains Charlotte.

Quickly, the scene was covered with military personnel and Reverend Huffman was sworn to secrecy. Charlotte says, “He was told, ‘This did not happen. You did not see this. This is enormous national security. You’re not to ever speak of it again.’”

But the enormity of what he had witnessed was too much for a man. The shock on his face told what his words, at first, did not. Then after gaining their promise, he shared with his family what had happened. “Granddad was a quiet man to begin with but grandmother said the look on his face was different,” says Charlotte.

A few weeks after the UFO crash, Reverend Huffman was given a picture taken that night by a local photographer. “He felt like someone else besides himself should have a copy and granddad was the only one he trusted. So he gave him a copy of the picture. So I had seen that picture all growing up.” Charlotte goes on to say, “You couldn’t see those big eyes and not be affected. It wasn’t anything I had ever seen.”

That picture went missing years ago after her grandfather loaned it to a friend, who never returned it. But seeing that picture and knowing the integrity of her grandfather, Charlotte believes the story is true. But, she never had any proof until a few years ago while doing research for a documentary on the crash.

“We got validation by going to the archives in Washington D.C. And to see a top secret declassified document that stated that there was in fact a crash retrieval in 1941 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, for me, I have not forgotten holding that paper in my hand and realizing that my families story was real, was solid, and for me was just an answer to a long time question.”

But Charlotte knows some people will still be skeptical. “That’s OK with me. I don’t have to convince anybody. I just have to know what’s true for me. I think it’s arrogant to think that a God that we have that is so awesome, created just us. I also don’t think that we have to worry about a huge threat from them because if that were their intention, that would have happened a long time ago.”

Charlotte’s story is one of many involving UFO’s and she’s quick to point out, it won’t be the last, saying the next extraterrestrial visit is not far away. “I don’t think that’s a thing of the future. I just think we’re going to see more of it and Stephenville is just the beginning of it happening everywhere. I think there will always be things that we are not aware of but we should always keep an open mind for possibilities.”

The UFO crash of 1941 in Missouri continues to be researched and investigated today. So far, the story has been included in two books and one documentary.

Out Of This World : Doomsday Seed Vault Debuts in Arctic

I couldn’t believe what I was reading…

Feb. 26, 2008 — A “doomsday” seed vault built to protect millions of food crops from climate change, wars and natural disasters opened Tuesday deep within an Arctic mountain in the remote Norwegian archipelago of Svalbard.

“The The Svalbard Global Seed Vault is our insurance policy,” Norway’s Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg told delegates at the opening ceremony. “It is the Noah’s Ark for securing biological diversity for future generations.”

European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso and 2004 Nobel Peace Prize winner Wangari Maathai of Kenya were among the dozens of guests who had bundled up for the ceremony inside the vault, about 425 feet deep inside a frozen mountain.

“This is a frozen Garden of Eden,” Barroso said.

The vault will serve as a backup for hundreds of other seed banks worldwide. It has the capacity to store 4.5 million seed samples from around the world and shield them from man-made and natural disasters.

Dug into the permafrost of the mountain, it has been built to withstand an earthquake or a nuclear strike.

Norway owns the vault in Svalbard, a frigid archipelago about 620 miles from the North Pole. It paid $9.1 million for construction, which took less than a year. Other countries can deposit seeds without charge and reserve the right to withdraw them upon need.

FREE ENERGY Home Generator – Sky News Australia

I’ll be cheering the day we see these generators make it to the market, before the big corps gets their hand on it.

Is this the end of the internal combustion engine? Will we finally be able to drive past gas stations with a friendly wave and a honking horn? Will we be disconnecting from the power grid or even selling power back to the electric company? We’re about to find out.

New Books Expose Patented UFO Technology, Exotic Propulsion Systems

Even if all of this book constains nothing of value, it would still be an interesting read, for the entertaining value. If any of you have the chance to get your hand on this, I would love to hear from you about it.
New technology discovered in the patent office details amazing UFO type vehicles and exotic propulsion systems. Use of this technology will revolutionize industry, travel and more.

Luke Fortune has compiled a six-volume UFO How-To book set containing 3400 pages of “proof that man has had the ability to build UFO craft, in replicable form, over the last 100 years.”

A certified paralegal, Fortune began investigating the UFO phenomenon in approximately 1997. After having a clear viewing of a plasma propulsion craft, he began researching the archives of the US patent office, and of other countries patent offices, to try and locate UFO technology.

His searches over the next ten years led to the accumulation of all the data, and more, that would become the UFO How-To series. Each book in this six volume series is over 500 pages in length, 99% of the content are complete patents, with a recent addition of a primer volume at 118 pages, “The Basics,” designed to simplify the understanding of the encyclopedic series, and make the science of UFO propulsion systems comprehensible to the average person.

This disclosure effort includes:

* 260 patents explaining the science of various propulsion systems that have been seen by witnesses that have been misidentified as UFOs
* How these craft can be glowing balls of light invisible to radar
* How these are saucer, sphere, cigar, or triangle shaped
* What the technology is that nullifies gravity and inertia keeping the pilots safe from high speed maneuvers and right angle turns that would kill ordinary pilots in conventional aircraft
* The different forms of technology that can be implemented into various craft to cause these phenomenal propulsion abilities:
* Electromagnetic/Electrokinetic propulsion (Electrogravitic)
* Plasma thrusters
* Magnetohydrodynamic propulsion
* Inertial propulsion
* Fusion, fission, and anti-matter propulsion technologies
* Traditional airfoil/air-flow technologies (“for people who refuse to grasp the other available technologies”)

UFO’s: Is seeing believing?

I’ve had the chance to met and work with Ted Loder in the past on many occassions, during CSETI trainings. He’s a good man, with the heart at the right place. He’s got a great sense of humor and enjoys life. He is fully dedicated to the discovery of new energy devices and Steven can count himself lucky to have such a man assisting him. You can find a bit more about him here.

The only unfortunate thing in this article is that the author, once more, had to mention the History Channel poor show, “UFO Hunters” and the UFO Abduction material. I’m so starving for articles that can show only straight material…

Retired UNH professor says the truth is out there

For beings who may or may not have visited Earth, aliens sure have spent a lot of time in the public eye.

The British Ministry of Defense revealed this month that the number of reported UFO sightings there rose to 135 last year from 97 in 2006.

Details of reported sightings were released for the first time in 2007, including an archive dating back to 1998. Sightings were of shapes, lights and formations, according to British press reports.

There hasn’t been a similar increase in the United States, but last month, reports of a UFO sighting by more than 30 residents of Stephenville, Texas, made national news. People, including a police officer, local news reporter and pilot said they saw a large, silent object with bright lights flying low and fast.

Ted Loder, a former University of New Hampshire oceanography professor, is a researcher with the Disclosure Project, which works to expose evidence of extraterrestrial life. He lives at the end of a dirt road in Barrington, surrounded by woods where he says he has a clear view of the stars from the balcony.

UFOs over Silicon Valley

A star-gazer witnesses an incredible event.

I was out on my patio pondering the mysteries of the universe at around 10 PM on the evening of February 13 and caught a glimpse of a most magnificent sight.

First, I saw a red light, which I originally had believed to be was a star, begin moving! It did various loopy maneuvers and then disappeared.

I should now explain that I have never seen a UFO, but have always thought it perfectly plausible that they should exist. The cover-up by the government, the rapid advance of technology, the many sightings through out all of our collected history all point to this conclusion, but I had never seen one with my own eyes. Until this night. There was a resulting large grin upon my face.

But this was not all that I was to see on this starry night. Of course there are always airplanes and helicopters in the sky over the valley, but this is not of what I am speaking. The red light came back a few moments later, but this time it brought a number of companions. Dozens of beautiful glowing orbs danced around each other in some organic and fluid pattern right before my eyes before drifting off just as quickly as they had come.

What an amazing thing to witness. I lay there thinking how fortunate it was that I had recently decided to sit outside instead of watching television.

This was not all, though. Just a few minutes after that, what seemed like a shooting star came down from the sky. But it was very audible and brief. It was more of a quick energy burst that fizzled out right above me.

Just after the weather started picking up. At the time of this article’s submission, the wind is blowing something fierce outside. What an experience.

So I think I can answer one question with some more insight now:

Are we alone? No, of course we are not. Who ever gave us that silly idea?

The Battle of Los Angeles was reported. The Battle of Silicon Valley may not be.

UFO in the town of Vilches Altos, in central Chile.

Experts in Ufology from Uruguay, Peru and Chile all saw a UFO in the town of Vilches Altos, in central Chile.

Rodrigo Fuenzalida, president of the Association of UFO Research Chile (Aion), said the sighting occurred in the early hours of Sunday [Feb 17], at about 02.00 hours (05.00 GMT) on the road from the town of Vilches Altos, 260 kilometres east of Santiago.

“Surprisingly, the UFO was clearly visible above the treetops,” said Fuenzalida.

He said that also with him at the time were Colonel Ariel Sánchez, director of the Committee for receipt of Unidentified Flying Object Reports (Cridovni), the official agency of the Uruguayan Air Force UFO research.

As well as Dr. Anthony Choy, a founding member of the Research Office of Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (OIFAA) of the Peruvian Air Force and Max Hernandez, Telecommunications Engineering, and director of the “Radar” Project.

“The spherical body reddish and orange, began to make movements in different angles and lasted for about seven minutes until it disappeared beyond a few trees,” added Fuenzalida.

He explained that the next day they were able to rule out an aircraft as being responsible and also any celestial body.

The sighting occurred in the context of the inauguration of the so-called “Primera Ruta Ufológica de Chile,” which was opened a few days ago in the municipality of San Clemente, by Mayor Juan Rojas Vergara.

Special Coating Greatly Improves Solar Cell Performance

The energy from sunlight falling on only 9 percent of California’s Mojave Desert could power all of the United States’ electricity needs if the energy could be efficiently harvested, according to some estimates. Unfortunately, current-generation solar cell technologies are too expensive and inefficient for wide-scale commercial applications.
