CNN’s David Bohrman and the YouTube Debates

CNN’s David Bohrman and the YouTube Debates
Washington, DC – The YouTube Presidential Debate question referred to by CNN Senior Vice President and Washington Bureau Chief David Bohrman in the Wired Magazine article below is the X-PPAC question submitted for the July 23 Democratic and November 12 Republican YouTube debates. This question, which Mr. Bohrman mischaracterized, can be viewed at: www.youtube.com/watch?v=-d1fw3MPvIA

Mr. Bohrman’s comment is disturbing on many levels and X-PPAC Executive Director, Stephen Bassett, is seeking a personal meeting with Mr. Bohrman to discuss the matter. Mr. Bassett has appeared on CNN regarding the UFO/ET issue and the concomitant government imposed truth embargo as has many of his colleagues. CNN has begun to provide more appropriate coverage of this extremely important issue, and it is possible Mr. Bohrman is simply not informed on the matter.

He may not be aware that 50% of the American people polled by CNN, his own network, respond they believe there is an extraterrestrial explanation behind the UFO phenomenon and over 80% believe their government is not telling them the truth about the issue. He may not be aware of the scores of high level government and agency witnesses coming forward in many forums with testimony to events and evidence that collectively confirm the extraterrestrial explanation. He may not be aware of the recent actions by France, the United Kingdom, Mexico, Brazil and other countries to open their files and reengage the issue.

Given CNN’s prominence as a news organization and its role in the ongoing presidential election, it is important that Mr. Bohrman be aware of these developments. Mr. Bassett, who like Mr. Bohrman, is based in Washington, DC, hopes to meet with the CNN Senior Vice President as soon as possible and talk about why the matter of an extraterrestrial presence engaging the human race is more important to the American people and the nation than whether or not Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger is a cyborg.

CNN-YouTube Debate Producer Doubts the Wisdom of the Crowd

As Republican presidential contenders brace for Wednesday’s CNN-YouTube debate, the executive in charge of the event is unapologetic about his decision to put mainstream journalists in charge of deciding which user-contributed YouTube videos the candidates will actually face on the air.

For all the talk about online voter empowerment, the web is still too immature a medium to set an agenda for a national debate, says CNN senior vice president David Bohrman.

“If you would have taken the most-viewed questions last time, the top question would have been whether Arnold Schwarzenegger was a cyborg sent to save the planet Earth,” says Bohrman, the debate’s executive producer. “The second-most-viewed video question was: Will you a convene a national meeting on UFOs?”

Rockefeller Reveals 9/11 FRAUD to Aaron Russo

Shocking, great information coming straight from the Elites. I wouldn’t get depressed over this, I very much doubt this will get implemented, but informed, we can fight them better.

Out-of-this-world U of A class studies aliens through the ages

On a clear night, when the sky is lit up with stars, it’s easy to look up and imagine distant planets teeming with life.

Although such thoughts might seem a modern fixation driven by Star Trek movies and UFO sightings, human beings have for centuries been consumed by debate about whether we are alone in the universe, says University of Alberta professor Robert Smith.

Smith is currently teaching one of the more intriguing courses on the university calendar, a history class on astronomy and cosmology.

While traditional history curriculum has often dwelt on subjects like British monarchs and French revolutionaries, Smith’s students are treated to lectures on little green men, lunar cities and spacecraft.

A recent class was devoted entirely to aliens.

Such subjects might seem more appropriate for a sci-fi convention than a university classroom, yet Smith suggests the study of all things extraterrestrial can provide important insight into how human beings have perceived their place in the cosmos.

“Positions have shifted over time, but there has been a consistent thread that it is possible for other beings to exist out in the universe,” Smith said.

“I try to entice students to put themselves in the shoes of people of the past and get them to ask, ‘What did they think and why did they think it?’ “

Smith said it’s important to note that fantastic stories about Martian invasions and men on the moon were not born out of someone’s imagination, but rather fed directly by accepted scientific knowledge of the day. People believed such tales because astronomers were telling them it was possible.

For example, the development of the telescope in the 17th century triggered a radical shift in how people viewed the universe.

Up to that point, the moon had been seen as a perfect sphere in the sky, but when Galileo spotted mountains, valleys and craters on the surface, that gave rise to beliefs of lunar inhabitants.

Over the next two centuries, a consensus developed among leading European astronomers. They reasoned that since the moon and other planets had the same form as Earth, and since Earth had life, there must be beings on those other worlds.

Some of these scientists even suggested there were aliens living on the sun.

Later, around the start of the 20th century, human interest turned to Mars, based in part on the telescopic observations of eccentric American astronomer Percival Lowell.

From his observatory in Flagstaff, Ariz., Lowell created increasingly detailed maps of Mars that showed double sets of straight lines criss-crossing the surface.

He argued that such phenomena could not be a natural occurrence, reasoning that the lines were actually irrigation canals tens of kilometres wide that transported water from the polar regions to the planet’s desert areas.

“It was a global building project,” Smith said. “In his mind, Martians are superior to humans because they are co-operating to save themselves.”

How was it that Lowell came to see these lines through his telescope?

No one is sure, but Smith suggests he may have been predisposed to see things he already believed were there.

Regardless, Lowell’s arguments helped push Mars to the forefront of public discourse the early 20th century. Popular culture joined in, with science-fiction stories written about hostile aliens on the red planet.

This helps to explain the mass hysteria that occurred on Oct. 30, 1938, the night Orson Welles aired his famous War of the Worlds broadcast that suggested Martians had landed in New Jersey.

“It was completely credible to more than two million people,” Smith said. “It was feeding into a widespread belief at that time that there is life beyond Earth and Mars is the key planet.”

Theories about canals and creatures on Mars eventually faded away, especially after modern spacecraft visited the planet and took pictures of the surface.

But although humans now know there is no intelligent life within Earth’s reach, the idea persists that such beings could exist somewhere else in the universe.

Smith himself believes that humans are probably not alone, though he’s unsure what form alien life might take.

“The argument that’s been quite persuasive since the 17th century is that there are so many stars and so many planets, it would be quite remarkable if life had arisen on only one of them.”

UFOs? That’s a good question, Tim, but I’ve got even better ones

John McCain got a standing ovation during a debate recently when he said of the peace, love and music festival known as Woodstock, “I wasn’t there. I’m sure it was a cultural and pharmaceutical event. I was tied up at the time.”

That shot across the cultural divide came as McCain was dissing Hillary Clinton’s failed old attempt to fund a museum at Woodstock, New York.

The moment comes to mind when I consider the most condescending question asked in any presidential debate this year. Maybe it’s because McCain’s attack on Woodstock, like Tim Russert’s question (I’ll get to that, I swear) seems so beside the point. Maybe it’s because McCain was flying high above the rice paddies of North Vietnam in what must’ve seemed an alien machine to the peasants below, shortly before he was shot down and taken prisoner in North Vietnam. Anyhow, the question Russert asked Dennis Kucinich during a recent Democratic debate was this:

“Shirley MacLaine writes in her new book that you sighted a UFO over her home in Washington state, that you found the encounter extremely moving, that it was a triangular craft, silent and hovering…. Now, did you see a UFO?”An entertaining exchange ensued, but the short answer was “yes.”

Never mind that it’s a misleading question. (Can YOU identify everything you ever saw in the sky? If not, then you too have seen an unidentified flying object or UFO, my friend. Gee, was that a chicken-hawk shooting past my window just now?)

Never mind that 46 percent of Americans say UFOs are real, more than “believe in” the war in Iraq.

Never mind that what Dennis Kucinich saw was most likely Dick Cheney’s post-apocalypse kandy-kolored tangerine-flake streamline flying getaway gizmo. (OK, I stole some of that from Tom Wolfe.)

Never mind that the question has nothing on earth to do with the mess we’re facing as a species (global warming, nukes, Neocon schemes)….

It suited Russert’s needs. What needs? Why, to humiliate and embarrass Kucinich, of course. Sort of like the lie repeated in our so-called “liberal media” during the 2000 campaign, that Al Gore claimed to have invented the Internet.

You have to wonder about Russert’s motives, especially as he posed his UFO question on the eve of Kucinich’s call for a vote on the House floor as to whether Russert’s former neighbor, Cheney, should be impeached for lying us into war against Iraq and beating the drums for bombing Iran.

Motorist reports strange object in sky above I-5

By: North County Times

OCEANSIDE — A motorist who is a high school football coach is seeking more information about a strange object he says he saw in the skies above Camp Pendleton late Tuesday.

Heading south on Interstate 5 at about 10:45 p.m., Tony Paopao said he and his wife saw what appeared to be a large, brightly lit flying vehicle pass overhead and briefly hover in place, before heading toward the mountains of Camp Pendleton and then out of sight.

“It was about 100 yards up. It was too low to be a plane and it was too fast and too quiet to be a helicopter,” Paopao said. “I’m just curious if anybody saw what I saw.”

He said he slowed down to get a better look at the mysterious object and saw red brake lights all around on the freeway, indicating that others were also slowing to get a gander.

A football coach for El Camino High School in Oceanside, Paopao said the object appeared to be more than 20 feet long and very quick. He said he reported the sighting to an online UFO center.

Reached Tuesday at noon, Sgt. Paul Robbins, a communications officer with Camp Pendleton, said there is no vehicle currently operating on base that is silent and of the size and capabilities described by the football coach.

“We’ve got things flying all the time, but the Marine Corps doesn’t have any aircraft that would stop traffic,” Robbins said. “I guess it could be an unmanned aerial vehicle, but those things are tiny.”

Extraterrestrials on Ice

by Ed Komarek

In a previous paper I made reference to the fact that FOX-TV executives had got wind of this story and used the story as the basis for a X-files program titled Alien On Ice. One of our people with ORTK drove these executives around as part of her job in California and told them about this case hoping to get some funding for me.

I would like to fill the reader in on this case in detail in which I have invested several thousands of dollars over the years and two trips to British Columbia. I did this to find the five mummified bodies dressed in metallic suits found by Larry Requa around 1938 when he was a constable operating out of Stewart BC.

Before describing what was found let me give the reader some background on this case. In a prior paper I described how my father Ed Komarek Sr. organized a group of scientists and plantation owners to create the first fire conferences and later Tall Timbers Research Station. When my father was early in this process of organization he searched out others from around the world who were doing fire research, one who was Larry Requa. At the time in the 1960’s I believe Larry was the head of forest service in the Yukon Territories of Canada.

Around 1962 our family in one of our annual trips about the United States and Canada ended up at Whitehorse Canada where Dad could meet up with Larry Requa. I remember the first time I met Larry was when we had broken down and it took a couple of days to repair the camper. Larry took pity on my sister and I who were sitting around bored to death and had his helicopter pilot take us both up around the forest service base for a short helicopter ride. Later he told me he could have gotten in trouble for that but this just shows what a kind and considerate person Larry was.

Dad brought Larry down to Tallahassee to lecture at a fire conference and Larry became a friend of the family. Larry’s paper, “Lightning Behavior in the Yukon”, is in the proceedings of the Third Annual Tall Timbers Fire Ecology Conference and is available from Tall Timbers Research Inc. Later when Larry retired and was in his seventies he came back to visit with old friends like my mother and father. This was around the 1980’s give or take a few years. At this time I was well into UFO’s and my mother had a habit of telling others about her son’s strange interests.

Well, my mother and Larry were setting on the back steps of the house one evening looking up at the stars when she mentioned my interest in UFO’s. She was very surprised when Larry said; I had this experience years ago and I have told nobody about it, not even my wife at the time. He told his story to my mother and said he had transcribed his notes from the period onto a tape along with other stories and adventures he had in the far north. The next evening I got Jeff Anderson a good friend of mine to come over to hear what Larry had to say. Also there were my very sceptical uncle Roy who was fit to be tied because he really liked Larry and just did not know what to make of Larry’s story. Sonny Stoddard and my mother and father were also there.

I could tell that Larry was very emotional and shaky just talking about this experience for the first time. I could see that this experience had made a powerful impression and had helped shape the rest of his life. Larry said that when he was a young man and a constable for the RCMP, he would not say when and where, he went looking for a prospector who went missing. He was flown to a glacial lake, got out and followed the prospector’s trail around the lake.

Larry also crossed the stream that fed into the lake which was very cold and could find no sign of the prospector on the other side. He walked up the stream to a small mound and sat down to warm up. He looked across the stream to see a small cave that had been mortared up with stones and mud from the river. Larry then went back across the stream and knocked a small hole through the mortared stones and shined in the darkness with a flashlight.

Larry was also very surprised to see that the inside of the cave had been cut away to create a rectangular chamber about 12 by 12 feet with a stone bench cut into the back wall. On the bench in the back were five mummified bodies dressed in metallic cloth about three and a half feet long. He made the opening larger and went inside and felt the wall which had a smooth glassy surface like the rock had been melted away. In front of the five mummified bodies was a emblem and what appeared to be a flexible metal equivalent of a chain but was like a flexible round length of metal but without any visible links. It seemed the beings had died looking at the emblem on the small pile of rocks a kind of makeshift altar.

Larry went over and touched the metal fabric with his pencil on one of the bodies and found it to be very flexible. He was taking notes through the whole experience as was his duty and training. The bodies were short and humanoid with long slender finger bones and large extended craniums. One of the bodies had a red suit coverall and the others had blue suit coveralls. Overhead was a shaft in which he shined his flashlight but could see no end. He lit a match to see if their was a draft and there was not a draft. After he had investigated the bodies he went back and picked up the emblem which was square with the four primary colours evenly divided into smaller squares on it. It was light as a feather and when he was holding it he suddenly saw what he described as images forming on the wall.

The first scene was a craft coming down with the occupants being knocked around. The second images was the five beings next to a hole melted down into the glacier. One of the beings had a broken leg and was lying down and the other four were standing up with one holding a broken arm. He had noticed the broken leg and arm on the bodies before picking up the emblem. The next image was of the beings dying in the cave.

The final image was of him sealing up the cave and leaving everything as he found it. He placed the emblem back on the small pile of rocks and when outside and sealed the cave back up feeling that the place was sacred and should not ever be disturbed. Larry was part Indian. He said he made up two reports one without the event which he filed and one with the event which he kept only for himself.

In the 1990’s this story was still on my mind and I figured that Larry had now died and that I would see what I could do about finding where this story happened and when. Larry would not say, where, when, let alone tell where the location was. I told the story to Rob one of our ORTK people and we drew up a agreement to share whatever we found. Rob went to work and after many phone calls found that Larry’s wife was still alive who was in her nineties as well as were his two sons. She and Larry had long gone their separate ways but had remained married. They all figured Larry had died as he had broken off contact will them all years before.

Rob tracked Larry’s movements all over the north and back to Stewart, BC. Then he got the microfilm from the local newspaper and sent it to me and I found references to Larry in the paper. He had a pet fox at one time and another time he put some tramps to work clearing a lot while he was constable. It was Larry’s job to go out into this very rugged terrain to find missing prospectors and trappers when they failed to show up for provisions in the spring. In the paper their was also a description of the explosion which he said told us had happened about the time of his discovery. We were not able to find a missing prospector in the paper around the time of this explosion.

Rob and I drove up to Stewart thinking that we could hike in to find the site. Boy were we surprised as this was the most rugged terrain in North America, straight up and down. There was a ice field forty miles long with glaciers coming down on all sides. At the newspaper archives and little mining museum, Rob talked to a lady there, and the lady said that a friend of Larry’s had recently come by and to our surprise Larry was still alive and living about a thousand miles away. Rob and I tracked Larry down and he was ninety two, I think, and still in good health. He told the same story to Rob as I had heard years ago and showed Rob a copy of the medallion he had made in the States out of sliver by Indians. It was the same copy that he had shown my family perhaps twenty years before. On the back of the copy of the emblem was etched a arc with a line across through the arc and several cross hatches on the line. Larry said he felt that this had something to do with the ET’s physics and travel.

Needless to say Larry was very surprised that I had tracked him down after all these years but he still would not give us the location. We went home and Larry died a couple of years later from stomach cancer and he was found with the emblem in his pocket. I had a falling out with Rob when Rob broke our agreement and talked with some friends of his to go back looking for the bodies themselves. Later I decided to go back alone.

I had been in contact with Steven Greer’s CSETI and had done a small story on this case. It so happened that a helicopter pilot operating out of Stewart heard this story from CSETI and CSETI got me in contact with him. The Pilot was very kind and gave me about five thousand dollars of helicopter time for only a couple of thousand dollars. We went all over the eastern side of the mountain range that separates BC from Alaska. It’s a huge rugged area. Looking for the site is like looking for a needle in a hay stack. Lucky for me I have information that I have never given to anybody else that still gives me a shot at finding this site if I don’t get to old before going back. I have the area narrowed down to where I will have to prospect on foot.

From everything I have found out I believe that Larry did not find the bodies himself. I think he made the part about the prospector up, to cover for somebody else. There was a trapper that he knew well who was all over that country and even has a lake named after him. I just found out that the Trapper never married or had children who might have passed on a story. I think a prospector or trapper found the site and because Larry was constable, came to him and then both went back to check it out and decided never to divulge the location. I think both took the location to their graves.

Today the glaciers are receding in a big way and perhaps some pilot will notice something shiny at the base of a glacier, fly down and see a crumpled spaceship and tell the authorities, only to have the evidence spirited away like in so many other cases. All that will be left will be a story told by a pilot and no evidence of a spaceship ever crashing in this remote part of North America. I have no doubt this story is true. Larry was a honest man of high integrity who knew little about UFO’s until I gave him some of my books to read after he told us his story.

USA-Ovnis, extraterrestrials and disbelief: witnesses want Investigation

Romain Bourg, Saturday, November 24, 2007

Many military and civilian pilots said they had noticed unexplained. They were meeting in Washington to testify. And so that the authorities finally bend on the issue. Sérieusement… Seriously…
They are formal. They have seen strange things. If strange that the leaders of the countries they served or companies they worked for have always preferred to ignore their testimony. Typically for the sake of image or credibility. They are not crazy all these drivers of the army or airlines concerned. And their stories, all the more striking than the other, are not lacking.

He hit the ship

James Penniston, retired officer of the U.S. Air Force, says he saw “a vessel triangular, illuminated blue and yellow” in 1980. It would have even touched. “The UFO was hot. He had a metallic texture with a large triangle on the side. When light has intensified, it took off without noise or air movement, and unbelievably fast, reflect. The whole front of more than 80 people. Alors ? So?

For Fife Symington, ex-gouverneur Arizona, and he witnesses a UFO in 1997, the United States must reopen the investigation. For the sake of aviation safety and national levels. In France, Jean Duboc, a former captain of Air France, assures him, having observed a UFO near Paris. “It resembled a huge disk of about 300 meters in diameter, which left a radar signature.” Alors ? So?

The three men are part of an international panel of twenty pilots and scientists, have signed a petition demanding a serious investigation on the matter.

Thousands of reports

But all these stories were experienced pilots, according to them, that too neglected. Notably by the FAA, the authority of the American civil aviation. It systematically discourage all criminal investigations in the matter. Since 1950, the British government has received 10,000 reports of UFOs. But in 5% of cases, no rational explanation has been found. Mystery, mystery.

PRG publishes to the Internet documents confirming the Rockefeller Initiative

Paradigm Research Group

November 26, 2007

Press Release

Re: 1993-1996 Rockefeller Initiative to end the government imposed UFO/ET truth embargo

PRG publishes to the Internet documents from the Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) during the Clinton administration confirming the Rockefeller Initiative

Washington, DC – Today Paradigm Research Group placed on the Internet documents from the executive Office of Science and Technology Policy obtained under the Freedom of Information Act by Canadian researcher, Grant Cameron. These documents confirm the effort by billionaire Laurance Rockefeller to persuade President Bill Clinton to begin releasing to the public government held information pertaining to the UFO phenomenon and extraterrestrial life and to provide amnesty to government employees wishing to come forward and testify regarding relevant events and evidence. These documents are located at: http://tinyurl.com/2o526u

Rockefeller’s move to effect “disclosure” lasted from March 1993 through 1996. Researchers aware of this effort commonly refer to it as the “Rockefeller Initiative.” While the Initiative itself was not successful, it did lead to engagement of the UFO/ET issue by Associate Attorney General Webster Hubbell, Congressman Steven Schiff, John Podesta, Governor Bill Richardson and others right up until the present time.

The nearly four-year initiative included 1) strategy meetings of researchers held at Rockefeller’s JY Ranch in Colorado; 2) meetings between Rockefeller and President Clinton and Hillary Clinton at the JY Ranch; 3) the commissioning of numerous reports and white papers, including an extensive study titled “Unidentified Flying Objects Briefing Document: The Best Available Evidence” by Don Berliner and Antonio Huneeus; 4) document requests and searches within the Clinton administration; 5) an important symposium, “When Cosmic Cultures Meet”; 6) considerable correspondence between public and private entities, and much more.

Many more Initiative documents are in the hands of other agencies, private citizens and the Clinton Presidential Library. Researcher Grant Cameron early on filed extensive FOIA requests to obtain relevant documents from the Clinton Library, targeting Bill and Hillary Clinton, John Podesta and others. It is these requests which have recently been referred to on CNN and in several newspaper articles.

While the recent questions posed to presidential candidates during debates and campaign stops is encouraging, it is and must be just the beginning of extensive queries to all candidates regarding their knowledge of and intensions toward what is easily the most important issue of this or any other time in history. Furthermore, PRG can state with high confidence the answers so far being given to these questions are evasive and mendacious.

It is imperative that all journalists covering the 2008 election campaign review the Rockefeller Initiative documents. Then PRG suggests reviewing the Media, Quotes and Video archives portaled at: www.paradigmresearchgroup.org/main.html. The most important news story in history awaits.

Many Americans still believe in conspiracies

By KEVIN CROWE and GUIDO H. STEMPEL III
Scripps Howard News Service
Friday, November 23, 2007

Nearly two-thirds of Americans think it is possible that some federal officials had specific warnings of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks on New York and Washington, but chose to ignore those warnings, according to a Scripps Howard News Service/Ohio University poll.

A national survey of 811 adult residents of the United States conducted by Scripps and Ohio University found that more than a third believe in a broad smorgasbord of conspiracy theories including the attacks, international plots to rig oil prices, the plot to assassinate President John F. Kennedy in 1963 and the government’s knowledge of intelligent life from other worlds.

The high percentage is a manifestation, some say, of an American public that increasingly distrusts the federal government.

“You wouldn’t have gotten these numbers a year or two after the attacks themselves,” said University of Florida law professor Mark Fenster. “You’ve got an increasingly disaffected public that is unhappy with the administration.”

Fenster, author of the book “Conspiracy Theories: Secrecy and Power in American Culture,” attributed the high percentage in part to the findings of the National Commission on Terrorist Attacks upon the United States (also called the 9/11 Commission), which concluded federal officials failed to prevent the attacks, but did not have specific knowledge of the date of the attacks.

An earlier Scripps Howard/Ohio University survey, conducted in July 2006, revealed that more than one-third of Americans thought federal officials assisted in the 9/11 attacks or took no action to stop them so the United States could go to war in the Middle East.

“What (the recent survey) could mean is that people are thinking that the Bush administration is incompetent, that there were warnings out there and they chose to put their attention on other things,” Fenster said.

At a time when the price of crude oil has neared $100 per barrel, 81 percent of Americans also said it was “somewhat likely” or “very likely” that oil companies conspire to keep the price of gasoline high.

“It shows that the oil companies are not trusted by a lot of people,” said Tyson Slocum, director of the Energy Program of Public Citizen, the consumer watchdog organization founded by Ralph Nader.

Record-breaking quarterly profits stir the pot, too.

“People look at the huge profits and put two and two together,” he said. “‘Those high prices I’m paying are fueling those profits.’”

All the talk about oil and terror has distracted some of the believers in government cover-ups of UFOs. Thirty-seven percent of the respondents said they think it is “very likely” or “somewhat likely” flying saucers are real and the government is hiding the truth about them. In a 1995 Scripps survey, 50 percent of Americans responded the same way to the same question.

“The kind of anxieties or mistrust of the government that might have been expressed as a belief in UFOs has shifted,” said political science professor Jodi Dean. “Now people are worried about things that are much realer to them.”

“In both instances, it’s a case of mistrusting government,” she said.

Dean, a professor at Hobart and William Smith Colleges in New York and author of “Aliens in America: Conspiracy Cultures from Outerspace to Cyberspace,” also said that the 50th anniversary of the 1947 Roswell, N.M., incident put more focus on the notion of a conspiracy.

Dean said she expects the popularity of the theory to decline even further during the next few decades.

But one decades-old theory continues to thrive. Forty-two percent of the American public still thinks some people in the federal government might have known about the assassination of Kennedy in advance.

“I’m amazed that it’s as high as it is,” said Vincent Bugliosi, whose 1,632-page book “Reclaiming History: The Assassination of President John F. Kennedy” was published in May.

Bugliosi’s book comes to the opposite conclusion: Lee Harvey Oswald shot Kennedy, and he did it on his own.

Bugliosi said he thinks a majority of Americans believe in some sort of conspiracy surrounding the assassination or the investigating Warren Commission, but most of the questions he has fielded on his book tour revolve around the suspicions of CIA or mob involvement.

“They believe in a conspiracy,” he said, “and I think (the survey) allowed them to express their beliefs.”

The survey was conducted by telephone Sept. 24 to Oct. 10 among 811 adult residents of the United States who were selected at random. The survey was conducted by the Scripps Survey Research Center at Ohio University under a grant from the Scripps Howard Foundation and has a margin of error of about 4 percent.

CAP/PAC Leader Speaks at Montreal 9/11 Truth, October 20, 2007

Another great message from my favorite Party Leader, Connie Fogal.

updated on 10:08 AM, October 31, 2007

Searching for the Truth-Exposing the Forbidden

Ladies and Gentlemen, I am Connie Fogal, leader of the Canadian Action Party.

You are here tonight for a number of reasons.

Possibly you are a confirmed truth seeker with a fully informed position about the 9/11 issue. You know the official story to be the lie that it is. Yet, you want more information. You seek Mr Tarpley’s expertise as an important addition.

Or, you think that the official story about what happened September 11, 2001 is

just not good enough in the face of overwhelming evidence. It leaves too many unanswered questions. You have doubts. You want to hear Mr Tarpley.

Or, you have a friend who has been giving you information which you just have not wanted to accept, and which you have been dismissing as “conspiracy theories”, but a nagging doubt has set in, and so you have decided to begin to explore the issue yourself.

Perhaps you want to experience the strength and power of being with “soul-mates”.

And/or, perhaps you are here to explore some political direction arising out of this issue.

In any case, you are pursuing your own development within the truth.

Thinking our way through to the truth is the single most important thing we can do, first, for ourselves, and then, for our families and larger community. It is our route out of the box.

The reason it is so important that you find the truth on this 9/11 issue is because that event triggered a fundamental world wide institutionalization of the political shift away from the interests of humanity.

It escalated despotic corporate rule.

The reason it is so important that you find the truth on this 9/11 issue is because that event triggered a fundamental world wide institutionalization of the political shift away from the interests of humanity.

It escalated despotic corporate rule.

It was the vehicle to bring the people to their knees “willingly”, and to impose an Orwellian mindset.

The classic example is the response by one British woman who said after 9/11 in comment on the imposition of the U.K’s anti-terrorist law, “I have to give up my liberty in order to be free.”

Being free and sovereign is our birthright. We cannot be free if the truth is hidden or forbidden to us. But, truth can never be permanently fettered. It will break out of any chains!

It is important to understand that we cannot be oppressed if we demand the truth and then live it.

The continuation of the 9/11 world of deception depends completely on us, on our willingness to accept lies OR our insistence on truth. Canada and the world are at a crossroads.

Let me repeat what I said on that video.

Knowing the truth about what really happened on September 11, 2001 is the critical first step in comprehending the immensity of harm being done to earth and all it’s people by massive deception created by a small clique, a cabal, of greedy people. The same people who are behind the lies about 9/11 are withholding vital earth saving tools.

Exposing the rest of the deception is necessary for our survival on earth.

The rest of this presentation contains information documented from Dr Steven Greer’s book called Hidden Truth Forbidden Knowledge.
(There are many other excellent resource materials on this subject.)

He talks about the fact that technology exists now on earth to save the earth and its people from an insane march to its destruction, but it is deliberately hidden from us, withheld from the benefit of humankind.

It is technology that can remove earth’s dependency on fossil fuels; i.e., new energy systems that can save the world’s environment.

It is a technology that can end earth’s transportation gridlocks.

It is technology that can cure horrible illnesses like aids and cancer.

It is technology that can end all poverty in the world, and provide an abundance for all.

It is technology that will benefit humankind in sciences that support healing, transportation, energy generation, manufacturing, biology, agriculture.

Instead, the technology is used to wage war, to weaponise space, to conquer, to pillage, and to destroy.

This incredible technology is in the hands of the wrong people, people who are addicted to abusing power. (As former President Eisenhower said in …)

It has been stolen, in some cases from scientists such as Tesla, and in most cases, from hidden sources. It has been funneled off into covert black projects.

Who are the people who have the technology and are hiding it from us?

They are the shadow government. They are a group of quasi-governmental but mostly privatized transnational interlocking interests mainly in the corporate, institutional, financial and technology sectors. They operate outside the government structure of the military, the CIA, the NSA, the NRO, army intelligence, air force intelligence. They include think tanks, religious orders.

An intricate sophisticated tightly controlled structure of covert operations hides projects and compartments within other projects and compartments that receive government funding, and whose workers have no idea of the interconnectedness of the widget they work on to another widget in another project.

In the USA, contract work is funded by government under Work for Others contracts. The contractors work for companies such as Lockheed or E Systems, Bechtel, AT&T, Stanford Research Institute (SRI), Bell Labs, General Motors, JPL (Jet Propulsion Labs), IBM. (There are others)

The transnational controlling policy group numbers 200 to 300 people located throughout the world including the USA, China, Latin America, Europe, Russia, The Vatican, the Mormon empire, various institutes. Remember, corporatocracy has no allegiance to nations, and spits on their sovereignty.

They are a transnational group that has infiltrated every significant government in the world, but is answerable to none of them, nor to the people’s of the world. The religious empires have vast financial and corporate holdings linked to the covert programs, but the rank and file have nothing to do with it.

These corporate, financial, transnational interests have been institutionalized in our national bureaucracies in North America by the creation of the Competitiveness Councils in the USA, Canada, and Mexico who are the corporate bagmen. The10 representative companies in each country carry to each national leader the orders from on high in a trickle down effect. They tell the leaders and their minions of each country to jump, and each leader only asks how high.

Who are some of the people, who knew about this technology but refused to reveal it? They include:

  • Admiral Harry Trane, former Commander in Chief, Atlantic Command, who moved to Science Applications International Corporation, SAIC (the crown jewel of the secret shadow government).
  • George Bush as former CIA Director, (the father of the current president George Bush)
  • Henry Kissinger
  • Former Congressman George Brown of California , deceased
  • Porter Goss, former Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee and current CIA Director.

Who are some who know or knew or have learned about this technology but did not/do not tell us even though they may have wanted to do so? They include:

  • Ambassador Maxwell Rab, one of the leaders on the Council on Foreign Relations.
  • Mr Peterson, a former head of the Council on Foreign Relations and his wife, a former head of the Tri-Lateral Commission.
  • Lord Mountbatten
  • Lord Hill Norton, in England, a five star admiral and a former MOD head.
  • U.S Admiral Tom Wilson while head of Intelligence Joint Staff
  • James Woolsey former CIA Director
  • U.S, Senator Claiborne Pell
  • U.S. Senator Byrd
  • U.S Senator Bryan

Who are some who have known about the existence of this information but have not had courage to reveal it? Or tried, but were blocked? They include:

  • Kurt Waldheim, former Secretary General of the United Nations,
  • Boutros -Ghali, former Secretary General of the United Nations, and his wife, Leah.
  • Kofi Annan, former highest diplomat in the United Nations bureaucracy.
  • Bill Colby, former CIA Director
  • U.S. President Jack Kennedy who was going to rein in the military industrial complex. In the fall of 1963 he was in the process of putting through the U.S. federal system an executive order that would have begun to expose the covert operations and put this advanced technology to the benefit of humankind into the hands o f the people.
  • U.S. President Bill Clinton,
  • Former Senator Barry Goldwater, US presidential contender, a general in the air force reserves, founder of the conservative wing of the republican Party.
  • Friends of Prince Charles and Prince Philip.
  • U.S. Vice President Humphrey
  • U.S. President Jimmy Carter
  • Former U.S. Secretary of Defence Cohen
  • US Senator Dick Bryan of Nevada, U.S. Senate Intelligence Committee
  • Mike Wallace, of 60 Minutes
  • Bob Shwartz, noted journalist, board of Time-Life
  • Laurance Rockefeller
  • Premier Gorbachev, Soviet Union
  • US President Bush Senior
  • United Nations Secretary General, Perez de Cuellar.
  • U.S. Congressman Christopher Cox, currently head of the Securites and Exchange Commission
  • U.S. Senator Inouye

Who are some of the people who have spoken out already? They include:

  • Paul Hellyer, founding leader of the Canadian Action Party, and a former Canadian Minister of Defence
  • Shane McDowell formerly of U.S. Atlantic Command, Norfolk Virginia
  • Astronaut Gordon Cooper
  • Astronaut Neil Armstrong
  • Dr Steven Greer, M.D., Head of Disclosure Project
  • Astronaut Dr. Brian O’Leary,

How are the innovative black ops programs funded?

Clandestine funding is being siphoned out of every US agency, through dummy programs. This was revealed by whistle blower Catherine Austin Fitts who worked with the first Bush presidency as Assistant Secretary for Housing and Urban Development. Her whistle blowing resulted in her losing her job, being run out of town, and almost being destroyed financially and professionally.

The people of the world will access that technology for the benefit of all humankind only if we demand the release of that technology.

But first we have to know that it is here. And, we have to know the important original source. Then we have to know who holds it and keeps it hidden from us, and why- their greed and power. Only when enough of us know that truth, will we be able to command its release for peace on earth and good will to all mankind.

The weapon of the shadow government is fear: fear of ridicule and fear of reprisals.

The defence tools of the people are knowledge and truth. These tools are the checks and balance that protect us. Being part of a legal entity in the form of a registered political party is our best practical protection.

When large numbers of people around the world mobilize demanding the release of the truth, that knowledge will be a power synthesizing the courage of many of the powerful people to do what they really do want to do: i.e., release the technology for the betterment of humanity and imprison the criminal cabal. The world’s current weak and spineless ruling class await the push from the people.

So our role after today is to reach out for more information in order to become as informed as possible, and to share that information widely in the same way as you have been doing on the 9/11 issue. You are the world’s ambassadors for truth, hope, enlightenment, and abundance for all.

The Canadian Action Party calls for full disclosure surrounding this hidden technology.

Daily Planet and Exopolitics

I’m getting irritated by journalist and TV stations that can’t report this stuff properly. And I find the “Alien” Term to be more offending every day. Can’t we call them by the right name? E.T. is simple enough?

I thought this was still an important video to report. This was sent to me by Paul Shishis. Victor Viggiani from Exopolitics Toronto and Paul Hellyer can be seen in this video.
Enjoy.

Are UFO reports to be taken seriously? We checked out a conference at the University of Toronto that says they should be. Click to check out what Canada’s former defense minister has to say on the subject while attending…

Unusual Object Photographed over Skies of Indonesia

Please check out this article from one of Indonesia leading newspaper. They reported on two vertical yellow reddish lines of lights that appeared in the north sky of Batam Island in Indonesia.

It appeared starting 21:00 and ended 22:30 on 11/12/2007. At that time the sky was good, no clouds, people could clearly see the stars, visibility was very good. These two lights were not moving at all. They just appeared and disappeared at the same spot. At one time the lights started to fade but came back on again, and about one and a half hour later it faded away for good. The local Meteorology Station could not explain the occurrence.

Thanks,

Edgar

VICTOR VIGGIANI DIRECTOR OF MEDIA RELATIONS – EXOPOLITICS TORONTO

Exopolitics Toronto

Office of the Director of Media Relations

Toronto – Vancouver – Washington D.C.

ANNOUNCEMENT

VICTOR VIGGIANI DIRECTOR OF MEDIA RELATIONS – EXOPOLITICS TORONTO

TO ADDRESS THE CENTRAL ONTARIO HUMANIST ASSOCIATION – WEDNESDAY NOV 28, 2007

Exopolitics Toronto announces that Victor Viggiani B.A. M.Ed. will be the guest speaker at the Central Ontario Humanist Association this Wednesday Nov 28, 2007.

The address will take place in the Community Room at 620 Yonge St. Barrie Ontario (map) at 7:00 pm this Wednesday. Admission is free. All television, radio, web and print media outlets are welcome to attend.

The evening’s topic is UFOs – A BATTLE OVER WORLD-VIEWS. The address will include an overview of pictorial as well as – never seen before – officially de-classified governmental UFO documentation. An analysis will be also presented of the inestimable political importance contact with off-world civilizations will play in the planet’s environmental, social and geo-political future.

BACKGROUND

Mr. Viggiani has distinguished himself in the US, Australia and Canada as a preeminent authority on issues relating to the geo-political and socio-economic impact of contact with Extraterrestrial civilizations and UFOs.

The Toronto Star’s October 27, 2007 publication of the work by Mr. Viggiani in Exopolitics represents a major shift in the position of Canadian media in the coverage of matters relating to contact with off-world civilizations. This type of coverage in mainstream media is an indication of a new openness and interest in a topic which is of critical political importance.

In the October article, by Star Staff Reporter Joanna Smith, Viggiani describes the work of Exopolitics:

“Exopolitics is a field of study that has moved far beyond the question of whether or not we are alone in the universe. Its supporters believe there is enough evidence out there that they can state as fact that; a) intelligent, sentient, ethical extra-terrestrials exist; b) they have made contact; and c) they probably have light years of lessons to teach us about sustainable energy sources and countless other matters of global importance.”

The entire article can be accessed at: http://www.thestar.com/News/Ideas/article/270984

Exopolitics Toronto has also recently received written acknowledgement from the Governor General of Canada to seek further clarification from CSIS and The Canadian Space agency concerning their documentation of this highly controversial issue. Mr. Viggiani’s correspondence with the Governor General has proved to be a catalyst for a heightened awareness in Ottawa concerning this issue.

See CP article at: http://www.brooksbulletin.com/news/national_news.asp?itemid=63458

Victor Viggiani has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology, Anthropology and Psychology (York University Toronto) and a Masters degree in Educational Administration (Brock University).

Having been invited to present his assessment of Canadian Exopolitics at the National Press Club in Washington DC (Sept 18, 2007), as well as delivering presentations in Brisbane and Sydney Australia (July-August 2003) and at the University of Toronto’s Convocation Hall in September of 2005, Mr. Viggiani has established himself as one of the leading Canadian authorities on the international perspective of how the study of and imminent contact with off-world civilizations represent a systemic change in world-views in science, society, geo-politics and religion.

Victor also appears on CFRB 1010 AM Toronto as co-host on the Richard Syrett Show each first Wednesday of the month to discuss and interview guests on the topic of Exopolitics and UFOs.

He has appeared on CTV’s Canada AM, Breakfast Television -CITY TV, OMNI TV and on international radio in Australia, Canada and the USA.

The New Dawn of Solar

Green Tech
Nanosolar Powersheet

Imagine a solar panel without the panel. Just a coating, thin as a layer of paint, that takes light and converts it to electricity. From there, you can picture roof shingles with solar cells built inside and window coatings that seem to suck power from the air. Consider solar-powered buildings stretching not just across sunny Southern California, but through China and India and Kenya as well, because even in those countries, going solar will be cheaper than burning coal. That’s the promise of thin-film solar cells: solar power that’s ubiquitous because it’s cheap. The basic technology has been around for decades, but this year, Silicon Valley–based Nanosolar created the manufacturing technology that could make that promise a reality.

The company produces its PowerSheet solar cells with printing-press-style machines that set down a layer of solar-absorbing nano-ink onto metal sheets as thin as aluminum foil, so the panels can be made for about a tenth of what current panels cost and at a rate of several hundred feet per minute. With backing from Google’s founders and $20 million from the U.S. Department of Energy, Nanosolar’s first commercial cells rolled off the presses this year.

Cost has always been one of solar’s biggest problems. Traditional solar cells require silicon, and silicon is an expensive commodity (exacerbated currently by a global silicon shortage). What’s more, says Peter Harrop, chairman of electronics consulting firm IDTechEx, “it has to be put on glass, so it’s heavy, dangerous, expensive to ship and expensive to install because it has to be mounted.” And up to 70 percent of the silicon gets wasted in the manufacturing process. That means even the cheapest solar panels cost about $3 per watt of energy they go on to produce. To compete with coal, that figure has to shrink to just $1 per watt.

Nanosolar’s cells use no silicon, and the company’s manufacturing process allows it to create cells that are as efficient as most commercial cells for as little as 30 cents a watt. “You’re talking about printing rolls of the stuff—printing it on the roofs of 18-wheeler trailers, printing it on garages, printing it wherever you want it,” says Dan Kammen, founding director of the Renewable and Appropriate Energy Laboratory at the University of California at Berkeley. “It really is quite a big deal in terms of altering the way we think about solar and in inherently altering the economics of solar.”

In San Jose, Nanosolar has built what will soon be the world’s largest solar-panel manufacturing facility. CEO Martin Roscheisen claims that once full production starts early next year, it will create 430 megawatts’ worth of solar cells a year—more than the combined total of every other solar plant in the U.S. The first 100,000 cells will be shipped to Europe, where a consortium will be building a 1.4-megawatt power plant next year.

Right now, the biggest question for Nanosolar is not if its products can work, but rather if it can make enough of them. California, for instance, recently launched the Million Solar Roofs initiative, which will provide tax breaks and rebates to encourage the installation of 100,000 solar roofs per year, every year, for 10 consecutive years (the state currently has 30,000 solar roofs). The company is ready for the solar boom. “Most important,” Harrop says, “Nanosolar is putting down factories instead of blathering to the press and doing endless experiments. These guys are getting on with it, and that is impressive.” nanosolar.com —MICHAEL MOYER

UFO activity above Cyprus

By Paul Wood

LARNACA Airport-bound planes and birds are commonly seen in the skies above Cyprus, but only last week there was a report of a UFO spotted over Limassol town and since an earlier article on UFOs in Cyprus, The Gazette has received many accounts from readers of their unexplained encounters.
Anthony in Nicosia contacted the Gazette to share his experience, “just last week at 10:10pm we had a sighting of a UFO while we were travelling in the Kyrenia area that lasted for two minutes. It was an oblong shape, like a rugby ball on its end and was glowing very bright orange. It came from the coast inland near a village called Catalkoy in small but rapid zigzags then stopped and hovered for approximately 30 seconds before making a smooth ascent at 45 degrees up to the east towards a very bright star. It then disappeared. A friend had sighted a similar event at the same spot a month previously “

It is just the latest in a series of incidents of unidentified objects in our skies. A local TV cameraman posted a clip he filmed on the popular Youtube website of a ’strange craft’ in the skies of Limassol.

The three-minute video shows a circular object hovering over the city. The UFO was a bright orange orb, which later changed to a rugby-ball shape.

There have been several sightings of UFOs on the island in the past five years. One of the earliest accounts of a UFO in Cyprus was in 1950, when two American soldiers described a “small, round, bright object flying fast, straight and level for 15-20 seconds across Nicosia”.

Last month, a computer programmer and his girlfriend who were on holiday in Paphos had an experience which left them confused and dazed.

The man told a UFO news website, “It happend on Sunday 9th September at 1am. That night my girlfriend and I were lying down on sunbeds staring at the stars. After a while I sat on the sunbed looking and talking to my girlfriend when behind her over the rooftop I saw a circular irregular light moving quite fast. By the time I told her about it, it was already 45 degrees on my right.

She saw it as it was reappearing behind a building and finally it disappeared again behind trees. It moved quite fast and at a constant speed along an east to west straight line.”

Last year a resident of Pygra had a similar experience: “The sound of my dogs barking alerted me to something. It was 1.30 in the morning and I headed out to try and discover what they were barking at. I noticed a bright light coming towards me, which then stopped and hovered. With binoculars, I could see it was a triangle-shaped object with amber, green and white lights. It was moving erratically left to right, back and forth – hovering there, observed by me for around 45 minutes. I tried to video it with a powerful zoom but the camera wouldnt operate. I checked the camera by filming other parts of the sky and the house and it operated perfectly. it simply wouldn’t let me video the object. This thing then went behind a tree and stayed there.”

In 2002, the self-styled Egyptian UFO Hunter, Dr.Ibrahim shot a five-minute video of a UFO above the carpark at Larnaca airport. The film shows a green ’shaking’ object and can be seen on his website. (http://www.ufo-egyptian-hunter.org).

An unidentified flying object was also spotted over Kyrenia in 1998. It was seen on the Nicosia-Kyrenia road by a family from Kyrenia who were on their way home after visiting a friend’s house.

They said an object “like a flying saucer” with white revolving lights had appeared around 50-100 metres above their car and that it had then followed them.

In July, a crowd of 100 stunned stargazers brought a UK town centre to a standstill when five mysterious UFOs were spotted hovering in the sky.

Drinkers spilled out of pubs, motorists stopped to gawp and camera-phones were aimed upwards as the five orbs, in a seeming formation, hovered above Stratford-Upon-Avon for half an hour.

The unidentified flying objects lit up the otherwise clear night sky above Shakespeare’s birthplace in Warwickshire.
According to multiple surveys over the last several decades and from different countries, 5-7% of people have seen a UFO – equivalent to 15-20 million Americans – and 10-15% know someone who has seen a UFO.

Several hundred thousand UFO sightings have been documented over the last 50 years, and the total number of UFO sightings is estimated to be in the millions.

There are thousands of sightings reported each year. Only a small percentage of those who see a UFO report the sighting.

His energy bill is $0.00

A New Jersey civil engineer powers his home with solar panels and hydrogen tanks. Can it work in the mainstream?

EAST AMWELL, N.J. – Mike Strizki lives in the nation’s first solar-hydrogen house. The technology this civil engineer has been able to string together – solar panels, a hydrogen fuel cell, storage tanks, and a piece of equipment called an electrolyzer – provides electricity to his home year-round, even on the cloudiest of winter days.

Mr. Strizki’s monthly utility bill is zero – he’s off the power grid – and his system creates no carbon-dioxide emissions. Neither does the fuel-cell car parked in his garage, which runs off the hydrogen his system creates.

It sounds promising, even utopian: homemade, storable energy that doesn’t contribute to global warming. But does Strizki’s method – converting electricity generated from renewable sources into hydrogen – make sense for widespread adoption?

According to some renewable-energy experts, the answer is “no,” at least not anytime soon. The system is too expensive, they say, and the process of creating hydrogen from clean sources is itself laced with inefficiency – the numbers just don’t add up.

Strizki’s response: “Nothing is as wildly expensive as destroying the whole planet.”

Life free from the power grid

Strizki lives with his wife in a rural section of Central New Jersey. His 12-acre property is surrounded by trees and his gravel driveway leads to a winding country road. His 3,500-square-foot house has all the amenities, including a hot tub and a big-screen TV.

It was here, four years ago, that Strizki set out to do something that’s never been done in this country – power his home completely through a combination of solar and hydrogen. “My motivation was, I saw what fossil fuels were doing to the environment,” he says.

Strizki works for a company that installs solar panels. In previous jobs, he’s helped integrate hydrogen fuel cells into cars, a boat, a fire truck, and an airplane. His latest project, the one involving his house, is an extension of that expertise.

The solar-hydrogen house took longer to complete than Strizki expected – a strict local zoning officer and the state permitting process caused delays, he says – but in October 2006, the system finally went online. The total cost, $500,000, was paid for in part with a $250,000 grant from the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities.

Rep. Dennis Kucinich: Effort to Impeach Vice President Cheney Still Alive

On Tuesday, Dennis Kucinich nearly forced the full House to vote on his measure to impeach Cheney. House Resolution 333 accuses Cheney of deliberately manipulating intelligence and deceiving the public to build support for the invasion of Iraq and now towards a possible attack on Iran. Witness to Roswell flying saucer incident tells his story

By Pat Sherman
Copley News Service

Retired Air Force veteran Milton Sprouse clearly remembers the summer day in 1947 when he returned to Roswell Army Air Field aboard the B-29 bomber Dave’s Dream from a three-day maneuver in Florida.

Sprouse, then a corporal and engine mechanic in the Army Air Forces, could not believe what his ground crew was telling him: A UFO had crashed in the New Mexico desert, on a ranch 70 miles away.

The story made the front page of the Roswell Daily Record: “RAAF Captures Flying Saucer,” read the headline.

According to the July 8 story, “the intelligence office of the 509th Bombardment group at Roswell Army Air Field announced … that the field has come into possession of a flying saucer.”

The craft supposedly had been recovered after the ranch owner notified the sheriff’s department, who sent Maj. Jesse Marcel and a team to investigate.

“Marcel and a detail from his department went to the ranch and recovered the disk,” the story stated. “After the intelligence officer here had inspected the instrument it was flown to higher headquarters.”

The next day, the paper retracted the story, claiming that the recovered object was a weather balloon – an account the government stuck with until 1995. It was then announced that the weather balloon story had been fabricated to cover up Project Mogul, a top-secret project involving two-dozen high-altitude neoprene balloons designed to detect Russian nuclear explosions.

According to Sprouse, five of his crew were called to the site to collect the remaining debris and load it onto a flatbed truck. Sprouse was ordered to stay with Dave’s Dream in case the military should suddenly need the craft.

“I had reservations of what all they were telling me, because each one of them told something different,” he said. “I thought, ‘I don’t know.’ … Later on, when it all started coming out in piecemeal, you could put it together and tell what they said was true.”

As years passed, Sprouse grew more comfortable talking about the Roswell Incident.

Author and ufologist Thomas J. Carey interviewed Sprouse three times with co-author Donald Schmitt. Sprouse is mentioned on page 233 of their new book, “Witness to Roswell: Unmasking the 60-Year Cover-Up.”

During his first interview, videotaped at the International UFO Museum and Research Center in Roswell, Sprouse was reluctant to talk about the incident, Carey said.

“He was a career Air Force guy, and they’re the least likely to speak because of their pensions,” Carey said. “When I interviewed him over the phone in 2001, I got a little more information, and then I interviewed him again last year and got even more. It was an evolution of coming forward.”

Today, as Sprouse recounts the incident, he leans forward in earnest, a conspiratorial gleam in his eyes.

About 500 soldiers sent to the crash site were lined shoulder to shoulder and ordered to scour the property for debris, he said.

“They lined them up and then said, ‘We want you to go through this ranch the way you’re facing until we tell you to stop, and we want you to pick up everything unnatural,’” Sprouse said.

“When my crew got back (from the crash site), we talked for weeks,” he said. “They told me everything and I believe them. … They told me, ‘Milt, it’s true.’”

Among the material discovered was a malleable, foil-like material that could be laid flat with no creases after being squashed into a ball.

Whether fact or lore, one of the most intriguing pieces of the puzzle are reports of five diminutive green bodies allegedly recovered with the UFO. Sprouse believes it.

A staff sergeant in his barracks was called to the hospital shortly after the crash, he said.

“He and two doctors and two nurses were in the emergency room, and they brought in one of those five humanoid bodies that they had recovered,” he said. “They said, ‘We want this dissected and we want a complete history of how it functions and the parts and everything.’”

The next day, the man from his barracks was transferred from the base, Sprouse said.

“We never heard from him again,” he said. “We asked and (they said), ‘Oh, we don’t know nothing about it.’ … I heard later that both nurses and both doctors were shipped different directions and nobody ever knew where they went.”

Sprouse recalled an interesting conversation with the owner of a funeral home in Roswell several years later.

“We had some friend of ours that died, and he said, ‘Hey Milt, I want to talk to you,’” he said. “He says, ‘You know the base come to me and wanted five children’s caskets.’ That was two or three days after the crash. I said, ‘No kidding.’ He says, ‘I only had one, and I told them that.’ They said, ‘One won’t do us very good,’ and they went somewhere else and got them.”

The day the UFO story ran, the debris was allegedly loaded onto two B-29 bombers, one of them Dave’s Dream, and sent to a base in Fort Worth, Texas.

Sprouse and Carey believe the material was then shipped to Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio, where they say it remains today.

“We believe some of the stuff was loaned around, but the main repository was the foreign technology division at Wright-Patterson,” said Carey, who holds a master’s degree in anthropology and served briefly in the Air Force. “We’ve heard stories over the years of people who say that they’re still trying to figure out what that stuff is.”

Various rumors suggest that pieces of the ship and the bodies were stored in a mysterious Hangar 18 at Wright-Patterson.

Derek Kaufman, who works in Wright-Patterson’s public affairs office, was tentative when broaching the subject of Roswell and Hangar 18. He said the base tracks all such phone inquiries.

“We might get a couple of queries a month related to strange phenomena. … Someone who believes that they’ve seen something very unusual – low-flying, strange aircraft or something along those lines,” Kaufman said. “Folks who are UFO enthusiasts are typically the people that inquire about Hangar 18 or about Roswell, but a lot of them don’t seem to be credible queries. They seem to be folks bordering on the fanatic. … I’m hard-pressed to describe where Hangar 18 even is located.”

Asked if there was any material from Roswell transferred to the base in 1947, Kaufman said, “I’ll just defer to what reports have been exhaustively investigated and are now available to the general public.”

Wright-Patterson’s Web site includes a section titled “UFOs and other strange phenomena” that includes links to the Air Force Freedom of Information Act Web site and a 993-page document titled “The Roswell Report: Fact Versus Fiction in the New Mexico Desert.” In the report, the government meticulously makes its case debunking the Roswell Incident.

According to the report, the bodies recovered at the site were not alien beings, but crash-test dummies used to test high-altitude parachutes.

UFO enthusiasts say they couldn’t have been dummies because the parachute tests weren’t conducted until nearly a decade later.

“That’s a non-starter because that project didn’t get under way until the mid-’50s,” Carey said. “These mannequins were a good 6 feet tall, they looked human and they were in regular flight suits. There’s no way you confuse those for little aliens with big heads.”

Asked if there are any remnants of the mysterious event stored at Roswell, Rob Young, a historian with the National Air and Space Intelligence Center at Wright-Patterson, answered, “I would not know. I’ve never seen anything like that. … To my knowledge there is not.”

Sprouse believes the Roswell Incident is a far-reaching cover-up that leads as far as the White House.

“The presidents are briefed on everything … classified, unclassified, whether they’ll acknowledge it or not,” Sprouse said. “Clinton, says, ‘I don’t know nothing.’ Carter says, ‘I don’t know nothing about that.’ Bush won’t even talk about it.”

Sprouse’s wife, Peggy, a retired Air Force lieutenant colonel, is skeptical about the UFO story. She’s been to Roswell with her husband and said once was enough.

“Been there, done that,” she said. “I never did believe it and still don’t believe it.”

Sprouse seems to be enjoying his part in keeping the story alive.

Has the government ever asked him not to speak about Roswell?

“No, but I worry about it,” he said. “I’m getting all these telephone calls on that report, and I often wonder if it’s somebody looking into this.”

The Great Los Angeles Air Raid of 1942

On the night and early morning of February 24 and 25, 1942, a singular event unfolded in the skies over Southern California – the continental United States was attacked by an enemy… or was it? The reports of this vary, from a squadron of Japanese bombers, a weather balloon, and even alien spacecraft, and the subsequent government conspiracies that followed. We do know that something happened; too many people witnessed the event to dispute that fact, but what really happened?
Was it an enemy attack, hysteria, or a UFO? Although the mystery has never been solved, the Fort MacArthur Museum is staging a recreation of the Great Los Angeles Air Raid on February 23rd, 2008.

GROUP SUCCESSFULLY SUES NASA TO RELEASE FILES

MEDIA RELEASE
GROUP SUCCESSFULLY SUES NASA TO RELEASE FILES

The world’s largest aerospace agency - NASA has been forced to release files it has steadfastly refused to release; until now.
This court decision, as rendered is a milestone in the pursuit of free access to government files sequestered for over 40 years.

Toronto ON, Canada November 19 – The Coalition for Freedom of Information (CFi) has won a landmark decision in a settlement of a law suit against NASA in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.

Presiding Judge Emmet G. Sullivan approved a settlement that requires NASA to comb through hundreds of documents and provide copies to the plaintiff – journalist Leslie Kean and CFi under the watchful eye of the courts. Previously, as a result of NASA’s refusal to release its records concerning the 1965 Kecksburg PA incident, CFi filed the initial suit in December of 2003 after NASA’s refusal to release these files under the U.S. Freedom of Information Act.

NASA is required to declassify documents pertaining to the alleged crash site investigation which some witnesses indicate was in reality a controlled landing of an unidentified space-like craft.

John Podesta, former Chief of Staff in the Clinton White House and President of the Center of American Progress supports this action and has stated: “The time to pull the curtain back on this incident is long overdue. Leslie Kean’s victory is a triumph for open government and the spirit of inquiry.”

NASA is required to not only declassify relevant documents but explain redactions and to pay Kean’s court costs.

The entire incident captured the imagination of the town’s people of Kecksburg. It was described by many in Kecksburg as being a controlled landing of an unusual craft followed by a military recovery of a space-like object. The entire area was cordoned off by U.S. military personnel who investigated the site without providing an explanation about their investigations. Some witnesses reported having seen a large object being carried on a flat-bed truck – escorted by military vehicles – moving out of the town after the incident.

In this unprecedented court victory the public right to know has been upheld. This court victory also deals a significant blow to the U.S. government’s on-going silence and resistance to the release of certain records relating to unidentified flying objects following legitimate FOIA requests.

In a statement Leslie Kean indicated; “Finally, we hope to acquire the relevant documents about Kecksburg that are required by law. I look forward to working with NASA on the resolution of the terms set out by the court and to providing the public with the information it has been waiting for.”

Little is known about the type of files that will ultimately be released; whether or not the files will reveal an analysis of the object type, its composition, propulsion system if any, occupants – if any, or any of the other aspects of characteristics that are sometimes attributed to unidentified flying objects that have landed or crashed here on Earth.

More information on this incident can be obtained at: www.freedomofinfo.org.

Gary Lindstrom: Kucinich is not the only one seeing close encounters

By GARY LINDSTROM

Unidentified Flying Objects have been in the news lately.

It came up during a recent Democratic presidential debate. Apparently, Congressman Dennis Kucinich, D-Ohio, had previously stated publicly that he had personally seen a UFO. When he was asked about it, he admitted to making the statement and having seen a UFO. Three cheers for the congressman for his courage and honesty. No cheers for the press who made a major joke out of his statement.

That was followed this past week by a national conference in Washington D.C. of a group of very credible people relating their experiences having seen UFOs during their careers. The participants were from seven countries and the United States. One was a former Governor of Arizona. Another witness was a former four-star general from Belgium. A lot of airline pilots came forward to share what they had seen.

Transcripts of astronauts talking about seeing UFOs in space were read.

When I was a police agent working in Lakewood, there was a report of a sighting above the power lines on South Table Top Mountain near Golden. The witnesses said that the saucer like craft hovered above the power lines for about five minutes and then lifted straight up into the sky. In Summit County in the early 1980s, we had a report of an aircraft hovering above the Dillon Reservoir. It was black and had red, blue, yellow and green lights. It did not make any sound.

When it left it shot straight up into the sky out of sight.

A couple of days later we had the same report of something above the landfill near Keystone. Some campers were disturbed while sleeping and they woke up to see this “ship” above the landfill.

The classic local event actually made the front page of the National Enquirer. I will not use the real names because one of the witnesses still works and lives in Summit County.

I was living on Straight Creek Drive in Dillon Valley. The Sheriff at the time lived on Straight Creek Drive also, but at the other end. We always left our radios on at home just to monitor what was happening in the county.

All of a sudden the communications center broadcast that a strange aircraft had been sighted above Silverthorne and they dispatched one of our deputies. A high ranking elected official at the time also monitored the police radio and started in that direction too. The Sheriff and I decided not to respond.

The deputy drove north to about Ute Pass road where they encountered the UFO hovering in the sky. They watched it for a time and it left and they went back home.

The National Enquirer picked up the story and ran it the next week with a photo of the deputy in uniform pointing to the sky. The Sheriff and I to this day are thankful we did not respond. When I was in the Air Force, there was a major government project tracking sightings of UFOs. It was tagged “Project Blue Book,” and I remember reading many accounts of Air Force pilots and ground personnel seeing UFOs in the air and on the ground. It is reported that there were more than 12,618 UFO reports from 1947 to 1969.

Reports indicate that the CIA in 1987 tried to hush up the sighting of a huge lighted ball four times the size of a jumbo jet.

Around the same time, the Summit County Communications Center received calls from the Frisco area about a bright object racing down Ten Mile Canyon on I 70 at a high rate of speed. Witnesses in Copper Mountain had the same sighting and reported that it continued up to the top of Vail Pass. Eagle County Dispatch received many calls as the lighted object continued west. The last reports of sightings came from Glenwood Springs.

Talk about being bipartisan, it has been reported that Ronald Reagan and Jimmy Carter both have seen UFOs. The strangest story that I remember was when a man was kidnapped in the winter by a group of men dressed in full white uniforms and then was tied up and hung from a tree in Monte Cristo Gulch south of Breckenridge.

That may or may not be a UFO story, but it certainly happened and was strange. The victim could not have tied himself up and then hung himself from a tree.

He was not harmed and was rescued by a local resident passing by his location.
We always knew that Army Rangers sometimes did night training in the snow in Summit County, so that might account for the men in white uniforms. Of course, the Army denied having anyone in the area.

Another Army tie in. The Army High Altitude Helicopter training center is at Eagle County Airport in Gypsum. They fly over Summit County all the time. The only problem with that is I have never heard a quiet helicopter.

Maybe I witnessed some of this stuff. Maybe not. My lips are sealed. I might want to run for president someday.
